Der Roller macht einen sehr soliden Eindruck und ich war zunächst begeistert. Allerdings ist die angepriesene Geländegängigkeit in meinen Augen eine Mogelpackung, da die Bodenfreiheit so gering ist, dass man beim kleinsten Bordstein schon hängen bleibt, was bei den ersten Fahrversuchen gleich zu Stürzen führte.

It handles cracks and bumps in the sidewalk pretty well. The brake isn't the most powerful, so I can't go too fast, but it's a smooth ride. Easy to fold up and carry with me into shops and cafes.

After using this scooter almost daily for 6 months I thought I'd give my take on this item.I weigh around 80kg, 185cm tall.This scooter carries me very easily.I extend the steer all the way up and its perfect, i dont have to hunch over or anything.The air tires make the ride very comfortably on a variety of ground surfaces.For the most comfortable ride, check your tire pressure every few weeks.The harder the tired the less energy it takes you to ride.I pump it up just beyond the recommended pressure.Pumping up the tires is a bit tricky as it is difficult to reach the valve with the head of your pump,but it's not too terrible. It is just awkward.The rear fender is your break. I would DIY a small extension for it if you were to ride in the rain or on wet roads, as the water will spit upwards onto the back of your legs. Extending the back fender just a bit will solve this.The scooter rides without any rattle- apart from this fender.I fixed this by removing the rear wheel, removing the fender, placing a small thin rubber patch in between the footbase and the fender and placing it all back.Does not really require attention, only if you want it to be very silent.The fender is also your break.Riding on dry surface the break gives enough friction to properly break.On wet surface however it is sketchy and doesn't break well.The folding mechanism is super easy and quick.It is also designed so there is no rattle from this mechanism at all.I take this thing on the train with me all the time and there is no wear whatsover from continuously folding it in and out.Very sturdy.When you get your scooter make sure to check your headset bearing.Mine was a bit loose which gave movement / rattle.Dont set it too tight either as your bearings will wear quickly.Just put a wrench to it and adjust it so it turns freely and smooth but has no movement back and forth.I love this thing. Lot of fun to ride.

Gute Verarbeitung, Bodenfreiheit etwas zu knapp. Leichte Bedienung. Geeignete auch für Kinder ab 5 Jahren.

I have been using this scooter daily for almost a month at the time of writing and I have some thoughts to share. I had to read many reviews when searching for a new scooter, upgrading from a cheaper and more "traditional" scooter with plastic wheels. This review is for those of you who, like me, needed to hear more about it from people who've owned it to make a purchasing decision.Quality:All the parts of this scooter feel solid and well machined. I have no complaints about the handlebar grips, the deck, or the rear brake pad which are the three elements one would interract with on a constant basis.Practicality:- When riding around, the scooter does not rattle very much at all. It also does not squeak or creak when riding as long as you have the small harness screw tightened securely.- Speaking of that harness, (for lack of a better term), it is a small screw that you must loosen in order to lift it slightly which releases the folding mechanism for the handlebars which fold flat against the deck. I like this system a lot, it works very well.- The height of the handlebars can be adjusted, but if you are any taller than 170cm, as I am (181cm) then you will probably have them up all the way. As such, when they are up all the way, a small pin comes out through a hole in the outer layer of the spine, locking its height in place. THIS IS FANTASTIC, as you never have to worry about the handlebars getting lowered ever so slightly over time. You never have to readjust the height, which can be a fiddly process at the best of times on most scooters. This is a very underrated feature.Riding Experience:- The speed is not as fast as regular scooters with plastic wheels. This is due to the tires, well... the fact they are real tires. I've found that it is plenty fast for zipping around the city, yet not too fast that it will accelerate down a hill at an uncontrollable rate. I cross a bridge every day and whilst I just walk it up most of one side, I ride it all the way down the other without reaching speeds that I can't come back from.- The tires make for a softer ride than regular plastic wheels. I don't feel all the bumps and ridges in the pavement nearly as much. Furthermore, the tires allow for more grip, meaning my ability to lean into turns is improved over regular scooters, especially in damp or wet conditions.- When reading reviews, much was made of the ride height of this scooter being too low. I can tell you that it is NOT too low... for the most part. I have scraped the bottom on a few occasions, but only when transitioning to a section of road or pavement that changes significantly in gradient from the last. This is not something that happens often and if you have any experience riding a scooter, you know to look out for this sort of thing anyway. This scooter simply requires slightly more vigilance on your part. Don't give this to a child to ride though, especially around busier roads.Maintenance:The only thing you have to do before riding this scooter (other than lifting it out the box and unfolding it) is inflating the tires to 60psi, as indicated. This is a little bit of a struggle and is definitely made easier with a second pair of hands. The inconvenient position of the nozzle requires you to flex the tire somewhat in order to change the angle of the nozzle just long enough to screw the pump onto it. Easier said than done but not too much of a bother once you get the hang of it.Overall:I am satisfied with this scooter. It is not perfect but I am happy with the upgrades over my previous bog-standard scooter. The wheels with tires are very confortable and more secure to ride on. The handlebars never need adjusting. It feels good to hold and to carry, (not weighing more than 5kg if I'm not mistaken), and the slight issue of the ride height is alleviated by an extra dashing of common sense and vigilance. The five star rating does not mean it is perfect, it just means that it has fulfilled my needs to a tee.

Als langjähriger Amazon-Kunde schreibe ich wegen der mit diesem Roller verbundenen erheblichen Verletzungsgefahren meine erste Rezension zu diesem Produkt.Wie bereits in einigen anderen jüngeren Rezensionen beschrieben, ist die Trittbretthöhe im Vergleich zu anderen Scootern viel niedriger. Das führt dazu, dass der Roller selbst bei kleinsten Unebenheiten oder Bodenwellen stecken bleibt und seinen Benutzer im besten Fall stoppt, im schlimmsten Fall aber unsanft zur Landung bringt. Wir hatten das Gerät für unseren Sohn gekauft. Nach mehreren schmerzhaften Stürzen haben wir den Rücktritt vom Kaufvertrag erklärt.Wer nicht ausschließlich ebene Untergründe wie z.B. eine Hallenbahn oder asphaltierte Strecken (ohne abgesenkte Bordsteine oder andere Unebenheiten) damit befahren möchte, sollte sich wegen der konstruktionsbedingt erheblichen Verletzungsgefahren den Kauf dieses Rollers gut überlegen. Wer dennoch zuschlagen möchte sollte sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass sich auch die Haltbarkeit des Rollers bei regelmäßigem "Steckenbleiben" oder Stürzen verkürzen dürfte.

Ich bin 180cm und wiege 80kg. Brauchte für den Urlaub ein kleines und handliches Fortbewegungsmittel. Ich habe mich für Luftbereifung entschieden, was eine gute Wahl war. Waldwege, Kies und steinige Wge sind kein Problem. Super entspanntes gleiten und mindestens 3x schneller als Fußgänger und 10x entspannter. Der Einstieg ist schön tief und der Roller sehr robust. Da wackelt nichts. Die Lenkstange ist auch beim Bremsen sehr stabil. Perfektes Fortbewegungsmittel, für die letzten 2-3km.Sehr zu empfehlen und sehr schick. Zudem äußerst leicht zu transportieren.

Überall ist dieser Roller ein Blickfang.Ich bin ein Fan dieses Rollers, erst Recht wenn ich ihn mit den Hudora Roller meiner Kids vergleiche.Sowohl für Kinder als auch Erwachsene geeignet.Breite Luftreifen, super Gripgriffe, einfach klappbar.Er war jetzt schon in mehreren Urlauben dabei und meistert viele Wege problemlos.Schotter, kleine Pfaster, Asphalt, Schnee !! , Regen !! alles klein Problem.Die Luftreifen sind kein Vergleich zu den Hartrollen der meisten anderen Roller - auch sicherheitstechnisch.Man kommt regelrecht lautlos dahergeglitten. Ohne diese nervige Geklapper auf rauhen Untergründen.Negativ:- Bremse funktioniert schlecht- Bodenfreiheit gering (dafür sieht er cooler aus)Es ist wie bei allen Dingen, wenn man weiß was er kann, ist er klasse.Ich kann mich gut mit diesen 2 negativen Aspekten arrangieren, denn alles andere ist top!Ich würde ihn sofort wieder kaufen.Habe damals ein Schnäppchen für knapp 90 € gemacht.

Gekauft am 22.10.2019 (schwarz)Ich liebe es, mit einem Scooter bzw. Tretroller unterwegs zu sein. Solange es meine Knochen noch mitmachen, werde ich Scooter fahren, auch mit 80 Jahren noch. :-)Ich habe 2 ältere Kettler Alu Scooter Zero 8 (einer war immer im Auto) und seit ca. 1 Jahr den kleinen Micro Scooter Rocket. In meiner Wohngegend sind die Fahrradwege so schlecht, schief und krumm durch Baumwurzeln und sehr viel Geäst, deswegen hatte das Fahren mit den o. g. Scooter keinen Spaß mehr gemacht.Dann entdeckte ich bei Amazon den Razor Age 8 - und habe ihn direkt gekauft. Denn genau so einen Scooter hatte ich schon lange gesucht!Nicht zu große Luftreifen - ein niedriges Trittbrett (das war mir SEHR wichtig) - klappbar - und bezahlbar.Als der Scooter ankam, hatte ich erst die Reifen aufgepumpt. Diese waren schon gut befüllt, aber aufgepumpt mit minimal mehr als 4 bar macht schon einen bemerkbaren Unterschied.Der Scooter rollt sehr gut und ist keineswegs langsamer als meine Scooter mit Hartgummireifen. Er rollt wunderbar leise über alle Wege, auch die gruseligen Radfahrwege sind kein Problem mehr. Und besonders das niedrige Trittbrett ist eine Wohltat, weil das Trittbein beim Treten nicht mehr so stark angewinkelt werden muss, was ich immer sehr unnatürlich und anstrengend fand.Dafür nehme ich es gerne in Kauf, den Roller mal über Unebenheiten anheben zu müssen. Das musste ich übrigens bei dem Kettler- Scooter mit höheren Trittbrett auch.Kettler-Scooter: Ca. 11 cm Trittbretthöhe. Viel zu hoch, um entspannt zu rollen/fahren/treten. :-)Deswegen kann ich die Kritiken nicht so wirklich nachvollziehen, das Trittbrett sei zu niedrig. Ich fahre schon ca. 10 Jahre Scooter und würde mir nie mehr einen Scooter bzw. Roller mit mehr als 6 cm Trittbretthöhe kaufen.Einziges Manko:Die Feststellschraube vom Zusammenklapp-Mechanismus hatte sich bei der ersten Fahrt gelockert. Das fand ich nicht so lustig.Diese muss richtig FEST zugedreht werden, dann lockert sie sich auch nicht mehr. Trotzdem: Anfangs am besten immer wieder mal überprüfen.Meine Kettler-Scooter werde ich verkaufen, den Micro-Scooter ins Auto verstauen, und mit dem Razor 8 mit Freude alle Kurzstrecken (bis ca. 4 km) genießen.Dieser tolle Scooter ist es mir jedenfalls wert, eine so lange Rezension zu schreiben.Danke fürs Lesen :-)
