See how we transport the Manfrotto 24-ft mast on my Lexus SUV? We use these for CSO360 crime scene reconstructions. It's perfect for law enforcement agencies as they can mount an Insta360 Titan camera at the top of a 24-foot mast. You can't fly drones over people, so this 24-ft Manfrotto mast is a perfect tool.

Excellent accessory for DI Osmo and Osmo+ and remote filming from a great angle. I purchased this primarily for 'game film' and being able to use my DJI Osmo and Osmo+ remotely while taking advantage of the crazy height of the tripod. Using the DJI Osmo and linking it to my cell phone allows me to control the pitch and pan of the camera while having the electronic gimbal take care of wind and other wobbles. This set up is cost effective and gives an excellent vantage point with minimal set up time or complications.I mount the dji osmo using a claw mount around the top extension connected to the rose joint. This is super stable, strong and secure. I mount a directional mic (rode) on the top screw mount and hey presto! A semi-professional set up that takes literally 5mins or less to deploy. While expensive on its own, when combined with other equipment it creates a very formidable and professional set up for overall very little expense. The portability of the tripod is a huge plus and can be carried with one hand. I swap out batteries at half time and away we go!I will update this review with some video and photo examples as I get them. This is an excellent product thus far!

I use this as a microphone stand, and it can really get those mics up high. I had to modify the top to accommodate a US standard 5/8-27 mic thread. Stand is very well built and not as heavy as you may think considering how sturdy it is. The leveling leg is important for a stand this high; any weight put up top this stand needs to be kept centered to be stable. A built-in level would have been a nice touch, but it's easy enough to add one.I knocked off one star because of several reasons. Even though it's a great stand, it is kinda expensive. Amazon took a long time to ship it (like 7 weeks). And I had to modify it to make it work for my use. If I could I'd give it 4 1/2 stars. All things considered, I would buy one again.

I use two of these to support my Nikon Speedlights. They are well built and extend to scary heights. I say scary because I am not used to seeing a stand this tall! A five foot diameter base and extendable leg help to add stability. I recently used this to support a Nikon speedlight while I shot a climber as he was climbing on an indoor rock climbing cliff. I was glad for the large diameter base and adjustable leg, as this gave me the stability and ability to level the unit on the uneven carpeted and spring loaded ground.Although the product literature says this unit will support 20 pounds fully extended. It will only support this much weight at 24 feet if you use optional guy wires to stabilize the topmost section. If you don't use the wires the stand will only support 2.2 pounds at 24 feet, which is perfect for off-camera speedlights or something like the Elimchrom Quadra Ranger. The height also makes it possible to get your flash up high and out of the eyes of athletes, say when your shooting a local hockey match and you can't mount your flash on catwalks or railings in spectator stands.I have also used it to get the lights out of the frame when shooting toward the far end of a swimming pool, where my light stands were located. I have to clone out the stands themselves but the lights were high enough to be out of the frame but still give me some nice backlights. They are heavy, and I don't use them often, but when I need them, they are the cat's meow!
