Fits great, easy to install, and is definitely a direct OEM replacement for the simplicity regent series cruise control lever.

Works and fits as expected. Precisely the part that it replaced. While I wouldn't say it is cheaply made, it is indeed poorly designed. Like they WANTED this to fail. The plastic is not strong enough where it connects to the metal rod that it controls. If you have a mower that keeps breaking these, you're not doing anything wrong. Just poor design from Briggs.
