If immobilization is the top priority, like in the first week or two of a break and/or tear, this isn't really the best choice. The design of it is such that your arm will move around a bit if you're walking around.That said, once immobilization isn't necessary to the highest degree reasonably possible, I'd recommend this as an alternative to other slings that are more uncomfortable to wear and more complex to put on or remove. It's nice not having the weight of your arm on your shoulder, or to have to engage three different straps and hooks to get the sling on/off.

My boyfriend got yesterday a huge inflammation in his elbow because of the arm sling he was using, but today he is feeling great with this one and it also allow him to use his forearm for some tasks while keeping his shoulder still. He has his clavicle fractured and need to keep it still for about 90 days. Highly recommended!! A lot better than the arm sling that covers all the arm since he also have some burns and scratches on his skin that need to breathe to get dry.

Suis ravi d avoir achete cette attele! C est une replique tres amelioree de celle fournie a l operation. La bande elastique est comfortable, les anneaux de retention sont facile a mettre et sont confortable et plus solide que le foam elastique de l hopital.J ai mesure la longeur avec une ceinture que j ai installe sous les seins, mis par terre et mesurer abec un tape en pouces.42 la ceinture, alors j ai pris la grandeur suivante que dans mon cas etait un 5. Ai trouver les grandeur sur le site de Walmart.
