Eigentlich macht es was es soll, aber da die Nadeln viel zu kurz sind verteilt es nur den oberen Kaffee und der unterhalb wird verdichdet und man hat somit erst recht channeling.

Da es kaum Rezensionen gab war ich sehr skeptisch - aber ich finde das Tool sehr brauchbar.Ja, es ist 3D gedruckt und rattert daher ein bisschen. Ich sehe das Problem nicht.Es werden 10 Ersatznadeln mitgeliefert, was ich für den Preis nicht erwartet hätte.(Und nein - es ist nicht überteuert. Alle anderen vergleichbaren Tools kosten deutlich mehr.)Das einzige, was mir fehlt ist die Möglichkeit, die Länge der Nadeln einzustellen. Aber das ist ein Feature, das nur deutlich teurere Tools haben.)Erfüllt es seinen Zweck? Ja, ich finde schon. Das Kaffeepulver wird besser durchgemischt, als man das von Hand könnte und seit ich dieses Tool verwende habe ich praktisch kein Channeling mehr.

Dennoch bin ich sehr Zufrieden. Etwas teuer für 3D Druck und könnte Qualitativ hochwertiger gedruckt sein für knappe 40€. Deswegen einen Stern abzug.

Everything is very good, almost perfect I would say, except the needles are too short and because of that tool is useless. On some short baskets the tool works fine. But on normal "Italian double espresso" baskets the needles are too short and when you spin the WDT, the needles basically tamper the lower part of the puck and then you basically have a dual tamp zone which is a big no no. I've tried the tool on Wega, BFC and Simonelli machines and they all had the same problem.There were extra needles packed with the tool, buy they were the same length.Also, if the needles were too long, the adjustment ring is too loose to really be an adjustment ring as it will readjust by itself every time you spin the tool. There should be some shims provided with the tool for that purpose or the thread should be much tighter.I hope they fix these 2 problems as the idea is very good.
