It does what it is intended to do but I prefer using vertical arms for the gimbal. if you need to plug in HDMI or audio cables into your camera, this can pose a problem when shooting vertically

Das L-Bracket kommt in zwei Teilen und muss vor dem Gebrauch mit zwei kleinen Inbusschrauben die sich im Lieferumfang befinden zusammengebaut werden. Ich nutze die L-Schiene um meine Canon EOS R8 an meinem DJI RS3 Gimbal hochkant zu betreiben, das funktioniert.Die Schiene ist komplett aus schwarz beschichtetem Aluminium und wirklich stabil, aus Vollmaterial (nicht in zwei Teilen zum zusammenschrauben) wäre sie mir zwar lieber gewesen aber sie hält was sie verspricht und ich habe auch keine Angst um meine Kamera. :)

The design is not intelligent. When the camera is a littble bit broader, like the bmpc 4k, it cannot be used.

Ich befürchte, dass das Teil auf dem Weg zu mir mal aus der Verpackung gerutscht ist, und dabei eine möglicherweise mitgelieferte Beschreibung verlorenging.Zumindest sah das Päckchen entsprechend angeschlagen aus…Damit war ich mir selbst überlassen, wie ich dieses L-Bracket an meiner Nikon installieren sollte und war entsprechend ratlos.Dann hats aber doch gezündet und jetzt nutze ich das Teil oft und gerne, weil ich damit recht einfach auf dem Tripod zwischen Landscape und Portrait wechseln kann.Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil wir so zögerlich zueinander gefunden haben…

I needed to mount my camera vertically on my gimbal and it does the job. Unfortunately, you cannot mount it horizontally on the DJI Ronin RS2 because it cannot go through the security lock on the RS2 quick-release base. The manufacturer should make the horizontal plate the same as the vertical plate and it would be perfect.

The camera Mount screw does not fit through the Mount slot. You can clearly see in the photos this company posted how it’s supposed to be done. It’s impossible without driller a larger hole. Pretty disappointed. Aside from that the screws that put the thing together dont make me feel great. I dont completely trust putting a $3,500 camera on this mount.

One reviewer couldn’t get the 1/4"-20 thru the slot, hmmm. It shouldn’t fit thru, one end has a threaded hole where you shall engage the screw and slide from there to the desired position. This way you don’t ever loose the screw. Cheers!

I didn’t buy this for it’s intended use of using with a DJI Ronin. Instead I’m just using it on a fluid head paired with my monopod for vlogging & travel shooting and it works just fine for that. It’s very lightweight, so light that it almost feels 3D printed lol. Overall I’m happy with it
