Das zweite Album von 1966, angemessen aufbereitet mit neun Bonustracks von Fontana/UK, darunter die rare Pomus/Spector-Single-B-Seite First Taste Of Love sowie die noch seltenere 'Walking On Air'-EP von 1965 und der Top 20-Hit It s Just A Little Bit Too Late . Gitarrist Eric Stewart spielte später bei Hotlegs und 10cc); Songs von Burt Bacharach, Goffin/King, Leiber/Stoller, Chuck Berry u.a. Booklet mit vielen Fotos und der Bandgeschichte.
Als 1966 dieses zweite Album der Band auf den Markt kam, existierten Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders nicht mehr. Folglich versandete die Bemühungen, die LP dennoch zu vermarkten. Ein Jammer, wie diese Wiederveröffentlichung beweist. Das Album zeigt die ganze Vielseitigkeit, Kraft und Sensibilität der Band aus Manchester. Cover-Versionen von Gene Pitney bis Willie Dixon erhalten den ureigenen Mindbenders-Stempel, und Wayne Fontanas Interpretation von Van McCoys I Remember Love sucht ihresgleichen. Im attraktiven Booklet mit vielen Fotos wird die zweite Hälfte der Band-Existenz dokumentiert. Neun Bonustracks komplettieren die CD: seltene Single- A- und -B-Seiten von 1964/65 sowie ihre letzte EP von 1965, 'Walking On Air', inzwischen ein Sammlerstück.

This CD showcases Wayne Fontana in his prime years, with the Mindbenders. the hits "Game Of Love" and "Um Um Um umUm" are included. loved most of these tracks, as I had them previously on other comps. if you only want Wayne Fontana's early rocking sides like "Um Um Um" and "Game of Love", this CD will not disappoint! Loved "She Needs Love".

my review will be short and right to the point…my rating of 5 stars is based solely on the quality of the reproduction. I have close to 5,000 cd's. the reproduction on this cd rates in the top 99.9% of all my discs.if only Bear family included the groups first 3 recording hello josephine, for you for you and little darlin as bonus tracks, I would have rated this cd a 10 star…..Jimmy G
