I have a solo stove mesa and was looking to put a small heat deflector on it to boost the heat coming out. I have one on my bonfire and the change was noticeable. I would say that this heat deflector for my mesa does make a difference with feeling the heat a little further out. My biggest knock is the design flaw. The instructions weren’t overly helpful but I figured out how to attach the legs to the deflector part. However, the legs to the mesa is a different story. Does it just sit on the ring like the typical heat deflector does? I’m not so sure because it only lasted about 5 minutes before it just fell off the mesa. Maybe it’s supposed to attach to the ring so I did that. That seems to hold better but the legs aren’t straight and it’s not an easy thing to adjust.Yes, this heat deflector works but I’m also not sure if there’s something better out there. Until I find something different that looks better, this will do.
