This is my 1st pair. I ordered a Size 8 and I got a size 39 EU. I am still going to keep them even though they are big but they don’t fall off from the heel or feel awkward. They feel like I am wearing a water shoe. I do NOT believe they are worth the full price at all. I will never buy at full price. They are one (1) inch wider than my Nike’s. You can sparky out your toes as there is no restricting. The sole is not thick so you will ache the first few times you wear. I was tired the 1st and 2nd days I wore, the 3rd day I felt used to them and today I wore my normal Nikes and I was like Holy Moly the sole was so comfortable yet I got home and my feet felt weird from the Nikes. They look good but they do NOT go with all my fitness wear or f I want to look cute which I do. I would definitely buy them on SALE and give them a shot.

If you are in the 30% of the population that doesn't have any problems with their feet, then I would happily recommend these shoes to you. Otherwise, don't jump on the bandwagon and copy friends, like I did, or you could permanently ruin your feet further. I now have a bunion on my right foot, with two painful ganglia sticking out from the joint. Apparently this happens when a joint is 'put under stress' (my surgeon's words). I emailed Vivobarefoot about this, and surprise surprise they didn't respond.Look after your feet, people. There's a reason that shoes have had arch support and cushioned soles for a long time.

This review is really mainly for the shoe designers at Vivo. They don't have a good feedback system so maybe they will eventually read this...I have bought and used exclusively vivobarefoot for the last 8 or 9 years so I am very familiar with all their offerings historically, and the geo racer 2 knit is the best shoe they've ever created with no question. They feel like a fraction of the weight of all their other shoes including the newer Primus 3 knit, and they just disappear on your foot, plus they are way more breathable than the Primus as well. Durability has held up quite well on all my pairs. Perhaps the best thing they did was keep the laced design, because it allows you to tighten or loosen exactly how you want. In comparison they have started replacing their laces on the other models with fake laces that are only for show. For example the Primus 3 knit fits more like a slipper due to the seamless upper and lack of real laces, but the downside is that it puts a lot of pressure on the top of your forefoot. For me it's uncomfortable, and I can never get used to their no-lace designs. It makes the newer designs feel so constricting and heavy. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel Vivo, laces are there for a very important reason! With the geo racer I can lace them up loosely with a double knot and the shoe basically becomes a slip-on with amazing comfort. This shoe is so great I have 3 pairs and may even add another since it appears they have now been discontinued. WHY VIVO!? Why do you keep discontinuing all of your best shoes like this and the Stealth 2? If Vivo brought back the Stealth 2 design with real laces and new colors I would throw money at them. I cannot fathom why vivo constantly has to discontinue everything because every time I find a shoe I love, they replace it with something I dont like as much. As a long time customer that is just supremely frustrating. As we know, all vivo shoes fit a little different and the toebox and fit is always inconsistent, so it annoys me to no end that they discontinue everything so quickly, and they never have much leftover stock.Minor complaints about this shoe include:1. The heel is starting to wear through the sole after a couple years, however this is a bug/feature of all vivo shoes that I wear long enough, so this shoe isn't unique in that regard.2. On one of my orange pairs of the geo racer knit, the heel fabric rubs against my Achilles just slightly with long walking days. But this never happens with my black pair so I think it's a consistency/manufacturing issue.3. The toe box is just slightly more narrow than some other designs like the Primus and stealth, but I found this not to be an issue after the shoe was broken in. It's still much wider than any standard sports shoe and my foot has gotten used to it and stretched the toe box a bit. Still, ~2mm wider near the big toe would be perfect.4. Super minor, but I wish they made more colors. I only recall seeing black, white, and flame red/orange. The white get dirty instantly which means only 2 valid options. The orange color is a real head turner - literally they turn heads and elicit lots of comments from strangers. I wear the orange to work sometimes and often I catch coworkers just staring at my shoes like they're in a trance, haha. They really pop visually. They have literally made me stand out in a crowd, because when I travel I always get compliments. All that is to say, give me more color options! Vivo needs to differentiate their colors more so I can buy multiple of the same shoe, since the other models don't fit me as well.

Backstory: I’ve been wanting these shoes for a while but they’re sold out and have been for a while. So when I saw them show up on Amazon, but slightly too small (11) for my size (11.5, but from what I read online, these ran smaller so I’d need a 12).I figured I’d order them to get a better feel for the sizing and then just return them so that I wouldn’t have to go through the guessing-game process once they got back in stock.Fast-forward to today when they arrived and to my glorious surprise they fit perfectly, and even have space for running/foot expansion.Anywhoo, these shoes are amazing, the are super-streamlined and fit my feet so perfectly it's quite difficult to describe. I prefer these now much more than the pair of Xero runners that I also have.
