I guess this might be unfair as I haven't used a lot of clamps, but these seemed finnicky to get them to tighten up. They are definitely sturdy and work well when I got them to. Just didn't seem like I should have to mess with them so much to get them to tighten down. My standard cheapy bar clamps don't have this issue but I got these for their larger parallel jaws. Probably still worth the cost savings, at least for me. The other brands are just too rich for my blood. I'm just a weekend carpenter.Update: Yep, I wasn't using them right. I know they're clamps so they should be intuitive - but bar clamps are just a bit different. They can be a little loose when you set them against the material at first, but I did get to use some others and they were the same way. And these things are just as sturdy and capable at about 2/3 the cost. I am learning new things every day and this was just one of those lessons. And my basic bar clamps don't have large jaws so there is far less play so that was not a fair comparison. I would definitely recommend these clamps.

The product is fine and does exactly what is needed. However ye delivery took a lot longer than I expected.

I have a project for my daughter that requires many clamping applications, finishing with some large final clampings. I have always wanted some large clamps, but have made-do with what I have. These are great well-made quality clamps that I will enjoy using. They will also last long after I have no further need for them. I am confident that my grandchildren will also appreciate them in their future projects.
