I bought this welder to weld in 18 gauge repair panels for automotive restoration. It does the job very well. Arc starts easily, and is steady. The controls are easy to use if you are familiar with TIG parameters. As I have other welders, including an older large capacity TIG I was glad that it did not come with accessories that I didn't need, e.g. gas regulator. This helps keep the price down. The cables are not long, but the unit is light and small so easy enough to place close to the work. In summary it is perfect for my use case, if you need something more general purpose (AC to weld aluminum), or are just starting out, well that will cost more.

I have only set it up and done one pipe joint with the tig so far. I have to say I am very impressed with this machine for the price. The only thing I don't like is the tig torch doesn't have a flexible head.**edit**Tried to use stick today and machine will not maintain an arc. Very disappointed. Oct 31st 2024

No idea if it works??? Tungsten not included..?? Why?? Or at least why not mention that???This seems like a reason why people return stuff. No Rod???? Wtf. Stupid!!!

I swear this said ac Dc welding capability being able to weld aluminum now it’s almost here and the pictures have changed and description. Something is not right
