Trotz dessen, dass ich mich ein wenig vermessen (61cm) habe, fällt der gelieferte Hut etwas größer aus, so das ich ihn behalten werde, weil er passt und er sehr gut verarbeitet wurde. Würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen

Ya había comprado dos Tilley, excelentes aún después de años y uso. Este tiene aumentos para tratar de que quede en forma original y siempre queda arrugado y deforme. Siempre pido 7 3/8 y este, misma talla y está un poco más grande. 😡

Das ist einer der besten Hüte, die ich jemals gehabt habe. Er sitzt wie angegossen. Habe ihn auf all meinen Reisen in Asien und Mittelamerika getragen. Sitz perfekt und hält auch bei viel Wind durch die Bänder. Trochnet schnell wieder, keine Schweißränder und Schütz hervorragend vor der Sonne, ohne auszubleichen. Sehr zu Empfehlen, auch der Preis ist berechtigt.

Also das Ermitteln der richtigen Hutgrösse war nicht so einfach. Habe jetzt 7 1/4 bei 58cm Kopfumfang. Trage ihn zum Wandern und Segeln. Hält bei letzterem bis 6bft sicher auf dem Kopf ohne zu kneifen.

I own a T4MO; love it. I got the T5 for the smaller brim, for golf. The hat arrived quickly -- 2 days -- but I noticed immediately that the crown was tilted to one side and the brim was stitched off-center. No Tilley tag in the back of the hat. Quality on the T4MO was better. The T5 fit a little looser than the T4. So, a defective hat and now returned. I will try again and hope this was a fluke. I will update this review later after I get a replacement.UPDATE #1 - I have re-ordered the same hat; it should arrive in a couple of days. I called and spoke to a Tilley Customer Service rep who reassured me that the hat is put together by hand and should be the same quality as my T4MO. I inquired about the Tilley tag on the back of the hat and she said "the new hats have it; the old ones don't." So the hat I returned was apparently old stock, FWIW.UPDATE #2 - New hat arrived and is perfect. Love it! Thank you Tilley and Amazon!

After having worn only baseball caps over the years (and sweating profusely in the hot months), I purchased an inexpensive brimmed hat over with an airflow feature. Better, but not great (it was nylon). After doing a bunch of research in the quest to save my bald head I discovered Tilley hats. Great product, but much angst over the price of the hat. I went with the T5MO for 3 reasons -- smaller brim (I'm short), Airflow feature, and it's COTTON -- no more nylon! Glad I did. Walked the dogs several times in it on hotter days, and it is the coolest hat I've ever owned. One thing to be aware of , Tilley hats run different size-wise dependent upon the model. I'm a 7 5/8. The T3 in a 7 5/8 was huge, but the T5MO and LT5 were tight in a 7 3/4. Settled on the 7 7/8 and it's perfect. I agree with others saying let the hat fit a bit loose -- it works best that way. Great hat, hefty price, but in this case, you get what you pay for. No regrets. Would buy another but due to the superb quality of the construction, I think it will last me quite a while.
