I purchased this ball for a friend who is aging and can no longer handle the heavier balls. It's very difficult to find a 10 pound ball that isn't made of plastic, so this is another great feature, being a resin ball. It's also got that great Storm scent. The bottom line is that this ball hits harder and carries better than her plastic. There's a tiny weight block, instead of the core that is used in the heavier balls. Still, when properly thrown, the ball hooks very well. It looks good, smells good, and is easy on tired old arms. I definitely recommend it.
