Works for alpine and nordic skis. Nordic can go three per hook, alpine can go two. I have 11 pairs of skis on it and could fit more. Very easy to install.

Although there were no instructions, it was very easy to mount on the wall in my basement. It's difficult to make any real comments because the ski rack was perfect! It is very sturdy and holds two pairs of skis in each hanger - 10 pairs altogether. My only issue is that I could actually fit more than five hangers on the rack so I'd be interested in buying another one or two hangers, if they were sold separately.

I was amazed what a nice rack this is. I have had several over the last 30 years and none have ever come close. Very functional and easy to adjust design. Easy installation of just 4 bolts after you locate studs in your wall. Very rugged parts and does a great job on all our different kinds of skis. Beware for skate skis that are thin will need a piece of 1/2 i.d. plastic tube on the rails so the sake skis dont slip through. I am super happy with this rack
