I had tried the GX Eagle cassette to run with my GX Eagle mech and chain, but it had the common 4th/5th gog ring issue which isn't acceptable on a brand new cassette. I decided to pay the extra and go for the XO1 and I am delighted. I installed the cassette and the difference in performance was instantly noticeable. Gear changes are crisp and the drive train runs as smooth as silk. If you have the budget I would recommend this component.

Expensive compared to Shimano but knew that when I bought it. First cassette lasted long and is machining is beautiful so that helps take sone of the sting out.

What did I like? The cassettes are almost a work of art, the shifting is sublime, and they generally last a long time.What don't I like? They cost as much as a nice used Volvo. Yeah, you can get a cheaper Eagle cassette, but the weight difference is significant. Who needs that first child, anyway?

This X01 cassette 10-50 is something similar to my old GX series cassette. The notable differences seem to be the way it was manufactured and the larger ring (50) appears to be from a different material. It weights 356 grams vs my old GX cassette 449 grams. Time will tell if this lasts for more kms and rides. So far looks pretty nice, and it is around 93 grams less than the GX version. In terms of shifting gears I have not noticed any difference so far.

Positiv: Lieferung zum nächsten Werktag.Die Funktion der Kassette ist ohne Einschränkungen gegeben.Negativ: Der Artikel ist als Neuteil betitelt.Es ist frustrierend, das für den Preis kein die Kassette kein Neuteil ist.Die Kassette wurde gereinigt, jedoch ist noch Schmutz auf der Kassettennabe Innen und Außen sichtbar.Es sind leichte Materialaufwürfe an den Zähnen vorhanden und die schwarzen Stahl-Blätter (1-11) wurden nachlackiert (Sprühnebel auf dem 50er Alu-Blatt).Da ich auf die Kassette angewiesen und kein weiterer Artikel verfügbar war, diese trotzdem montiert.Wie oben beschrieben ist die Funktion gegeben, Kassette und die neue Kette arbeiten perfekt zusammen.
