The design is nice and so is the drag quality but I found it a little too tiny compared to my old baitcaster.

The reel is nice and small. It fits well in the palm of your hand. No issues with backlashes and very easy to adjust. It works well with baits in the 3/8 ounce range and higher. I’ve tested it on baits down to 1/8 ounce without issue. This a lighter than normally used on this type of reel, but I was quite impressed. Drag is smooth and adjusts well. A very good value for the money. Highly recommended.

Have only used a few times, but casts very smooth with smooth retrieve. Casts well with little noise.

Nice reel and it doesn't get all messed up. Cast it gently and it's smooth. Don't whip it l like spinning reel. Magnets work best with easy casting.

I picked this up for my son for his first bait caster. This has been a great casting reel and hasn't given him much trouble. He's learning so he gets the occasional backlash but this reel is pretty forgiving. The retrieve is smooth and drag/tension settings work well. Overall, I'd definitely recommend for a budget priced reel.
