Very well made and easy to put on the dog. Crash tested, not all harnesses are.

I love it!We already had the older one (Click it Sport Harness). We use it every day so, after 2 years it looks old and we decided to upgrade to the new Terrain model. I was sceptical because I read only bad reviews (not a lot, but all them bad), I wasn't sure if the reviews were from people really interested in safety issues or just in being comfortable. Finally I bought it and I find it perfect (the click it sport is lighter but I don't mind the weight, I only use it in my car so I don't carry it and my dog doesn't really walk with it). My dog only walks with the harness if we are on a long trip and stop only a few minutes (cafe, pee a little walk), in these occasions I put the leash on a collar, not on the harness. In the car, while travelling my dog is comfortable, he can sit or lay down as he used to do with the click it sport, but this one I find it better because it doesn't move on him, it is easier and faster to put on and looks pretty better. We have used it for a long trip (from Dusselsorf-Germany to Girona-Catalonia), we had no issues while travelling and we didn't even stop to sleep, so it was a long trip for the dog and he was comfortable. We needed to do an emergency break because of an ****** on the highway and the dog didn't get to touch the driver seat. In that moment the dog was laying down sleeping (35kg dog) and he just woke up like, what? who's there? He wasn't hurt or limping after that.

The straps loosen up EVERY time it’s used. The reflective areas are peeling off & I haven’t even used it for a week ! 😠

This is not a cheap harness but it is very well made and of a good quality. What is most importnat though is that it uses the seat belt in the same way it does on a human so not only does the dog not become a loose canon in the car in an emergency, but it also safely keeps them on the seat, nice and secure. The wide chest pad helps absorb any force and makes it comfortable to wear and it does not rub my dog at all. Once you have it fitted correctly to them (the videos on You Tube are best for this purpose) then it is so simple to put on and off. I just leave the neck clasp done up and my dog steps through the leg looks and I do it up across the back. The seat belt threads through two wide straps on the harness. While in the car my dog is free to sit up or lie down and can move around a little but not get up and wander around. I am so pleased with this product. One small criticism is that the reflective strips are wearing off but I didn't buy it for night time walks. Videos on You Tube show how well this harness works and what happens to the dog with many other harnesses. I think it's well worth the price to potentially save my dogs life.

We take frequent car trips with our German Shepherd and I've been increasingly concerned for her safety in the event of a crash. If you've done your homework, then you already know that this harness is this only one with a passable rating after crash tests. I was slightly apprehensive after reading some reviews saying the dog didn't like it, but with safety in mind, I decided to try it anyway. Our GSD is 62 lb, and after measuring her I decided to order the large, which after some adjustments actually fits very well. This dog is rescue and tends to be quite nervous (even after two years and lots of progress) so I tried it on her in the house a few times first then took her on an afternoon outing. She actually did very well, was able to sit, lie and stand in the back seat, though admittedly couldn't really walk back and forth which I think initially annoyed her a bit, but she quickly just settled down and laid on the seat and fell asleep. We've actually had issues with her getting car sick recently and I think the lessened movement actually made a difference with that because for the first time in a long time, that didn't occur. (Added bonus!) Overall there was less movement of the dog on cornering and braking, so I can only imagine that obviously in the ultimate test, a crash it will hold up well too. The harness is constructed of heavy duty material with seatbelt style material where it is actually strapped to your vehicle seatbelt. Fairly simple yet smart construction. I'm happy to have peace of mind knowing our 4-legged member of the family is safer now.
