I've tried this out with one of the included strips on a dead CR2032 battery. The documentation says these are 0.15mm nickel strips. The manual gives settings to use for 0.15mm nickel-PLATED strips, and for 0.10 or 0.12mm SOLID nickel strips, but not for 0.15mm nickel strips.I tried the "gear 70" setting. Holding the unit vertical, I was able to make what seemed like solid welds, although usually one of the two spots was much stronger than the other. When I tried holding the unit at a 45-degree angle as specified in the manual, it shot sparks at me, and only one of the spots actually welded.Clearly, it's going to take some more experimentation to find out what works best with this unit. But I'm encouraged that I got metal to stick together on the first try, and on each subsequent try. I'm confident that I'll be able to use this to make good welds with a bit more practice.

etwas von der Leistung enttäuscht insbesondere von der Wiederholgenauigkeit, unter gleichen Bedingungen werden die Schweißpunkte unterschiedlich

This Seesii Battery Spot Welder is fantastic addition to my tool set. I really like how easy it is to use and get great results welding battery packs together. This kit had everything I needed to start putting battery packs together. They include 2 of material to weld the batteries together and a "file" for deburring. I also like that it has manual mode as well as automatic mode for spot welding. It also has an adjustable preheat function to help get the best welds possible without damaging the battery or connecting strip. I've only begun to scratch the surface of what all I can do with this handy tool.I will say that using it in manual mode is not as easy to use since you have to press the power button to fire the welder, and the button is very small and located on the end opposite the working end with the adjustment buttons. The screen is pretty easy to see and understand and the instruction manual is in plain English and should be easy to follow. The tool feels well-made, and I don't fear it breaking or falling to pieces at any random time. I would recommend this tool to anyone that has a need for a battery spot welder.

I was able to use this to put new batteries in my Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners battery. The quality of this tool seems pretty decent and the battery life seems to last longer than I expected. Also this is the first tool like this I have ever had I have nothing to compare it to. It doesn’t seem like it is very consistent and the spot welding. Sometimes it might burn clean through the metal strip that was included with this kit to connect the batteries together with other times it might not even spot weld the strip to the battery. Maybe it’s the first time user issue but it functions as advertised and it got the job done that’s the most important thing. And surprisingly easy to use!

We tried this a few times, and each time we could pull the tab off with our hands. It took a lot of effort, but the tabs came off clean due to a partial weld. It's still better than soldering, but we wouldn't use this for batteries in demanding environments. It also takes longer than expected for the unit to decide to weld. I kept thinking, "Isn't this automatic?" I just had to wait longer. That makes this not a great option for production. You want it to fire off right away. For hobby use it is decent enough.
