I wanted a good quality, large tarp for general use around the yard. This is sturdy, appears durable and will well suit my needs. Be sure to check the dimensions for your purposes. It does include some hardware for affixing it to the ground once placed over your pool. The string is already installed around the outside so you do not have to do it. I took one star off because it smelled pretty strongly of chemicals when I opened it. I did confirm that water under and top of it did get quite warm sitting in the sun so I am sure it will make some contribution to keeping a pool warm.

Great pool cover. Easy to secure and put on. Represistance is great and the solar functional bit is wonderful. It's very durable and helps keep my pool clean.

I got the 10 foot round pool cover. It fits my 10 ft intex pool perfectly. It seems to be very durable. It is very easy to put on though a bit heavy. I have not had any problems with leakage or with water pooling on the top. Overall this is a must buy pool accessory.
