Sie haben auch eine größere Schlagfläche mit abgeschrägter Kante für den allgemeinen Gebrauch. Beide Schlagflächen sind induktionsgehärtet für Härte. Die Hammer haben zudem eine seitliche Schlagfläche, die nicht gehärtet ist. Dies ist für auffällige Holzpfosten konzipiert. Ein stoßdämpfender TPE-Griff bietet maximalen Komfort.

I bought it to smash up some furniture fit only for scrap. It is heavy enough to make short work of it. And the handle gives good grip.

As a long term exponent of Roughneck Gorilla hammers, I was excited by this one.Previously owning the 8 and 10lb full length sledgehammers, I was expecting more of the same. 3 striking faces (main, side, point), comfortable handle, ergonomic balance and weight...I was disappointed. The shorter handle is too short and carries no mass. All the weight is in the head. This disrupts the swing action, making it highly unbalanced and difficult to maintain a smooth trajectory.Due to the weight, it immediately flips upside down and falls out of the majority of toolbelt hammer holders. A spirit level pouch is the only solution due to the depth and length of material securing the hammer, but again, this grips the handle too tightly, a lanyard will not squeeze through the hole at the same time, and if it does, it gets caught and tangled making the hammer difficult to store and release efficiently. The last thing you want to be doing suspended 35m off the ground with a crane dropping 18 tons of steel over your head, is to be wrestling with a hammer holder, or worried it will slip out and fall.The only effective method I have found for 1 handed accuracy, is using it like a caveman's rock. Grip it at the top of the handle just under the head, and strike with a punching action rather than a swing. The handle is too short to swing with both hands, similar mechanics to trying to play Squash with a child's badminton racket.Spend the extra few quid, and go for the long handled version. With a skip down the wicket style 2 hand underhand slog a la Chris Gayle, it sent 50mm steel pins held in with over 400kg of pressure flying at the speed of sound. Slightly excessive, definitely dangerous, there's getting the job done, and then there's getting the done job'd. Use the energy you save by not swinging it 20x to run around searching for the low flying UFOs (unidentified Ferrous objects) in the long grass.
