The product is good and work well. Unfortunately, it was not for my luggage model (which is a bit old), but I made it work with some adaptations and I can pull my luggage again. I recommend to verify measurements before buying it.

I paid attention to the details of the bolt pattern, so this was about as close as I could get the one in my original suitcase. Had to use a utility knife to slightly modify the suitcase to fit this new handle. The hardest part about the install was getting the old handle out. That hardware had to be ground/cut out with other tools. Once that was done it took around 15 minutes to put this new handle in.

[Update: Nov2024] Still excellent! 👍 [end update]This saved a Samsonite that I use as a portable office tote (laptop, big bluetooth speaker, cables, adapters, power supplies, etc). Better than the original handle, by a long shot. Extends/retracts much easier. More sturdy.Install note: It's not a drop-in replacement. This took quite a bit of surgery and finagling to get a good fit. I'm used to ad hoc engineering, so no big deal here, but if you're not "handy", this'll be worse for you than anything from IKEA... Remember, measure twice, make sure you measured the right thing, be conservative, then cut once, and again, and again, but never too much...until you get a snug fit.

This is great - my telescoping handle broke on my favorite suitcase and this brought it back to life! No real instructions but it’s pretty intuitive. My husband had to drill some extra holes in my suitcase and modify a bit - it wasn’t a smooth and perfect fit from the get go, but with some extra tools we made it work and my suitcase is back in working condition! I’d say the handle and mechanisms feel even more sturdy than the ones that came with my suitcase! Just take good measurements and if this matches it will work.

This will not fit travelpro and forget about trying to get parts for this brand. They are virtually impossible to repair and just try getting parts. Wheels yes but nothing else.
