Not a fan of this swimmer. You're much better off with a smaller crankbait that dives to a certain depth or something that floats.This swimmer is just too big for most applications. No fish seem to want to hit this and as soon as I switch out to a smaller crankbait I start catching fish again. It's a bit too big for walleye, and it's suspending so not the best choice for a downrigger or anything. Trolling it on its own, I watch its' action and it just doesn't look good in the water at most speeds. I casted for bass with little luck. I'd always start catching when I switched to smaller crankbaits.It might be a good lure for casting for pike or musky, but I've not had much luck with it yet.I'd avoid this unless you have a specific known application you need to fill. I certainly couldn't find one.
