Ordered this cushion based on the reviews and competitive price following a fall I had on the ice last week that resulted in several bulging disks in my lower back. It arrived so quickly and regained its full shape fast once out of the pkg. It is very comfortable and provided instant pain relief. I've already used it on couches, hard wooden chairs, and in the car--could not be more pleased with the quality of this cushion--and its great for plus size folks too. Firm and sturdy but comfortable.

I purchased this seat cushion to use in my vehicle. I have spinal stenosis and wanted something to help relieve the pressure and pain in my back. And this definitely helped!! The cushion is very comfortable and fits well on the seat in my CRV. The cushion is very well made. I am very happy with it all around. You will not be disappointed in this cushion.

Let me just throw out a caveat here. Items such as this ProtoArc pillow are very subjective. Anything and everything from body shape and weight can affect whether this pillow works for you or not. In my case I did find it useful for my issue.Ever since I had a bout of cancer in my spine I've had pain in my posterior due to nerve damage. Sitting can be really excruciating. I've seen the occupational therapist who recommended I try some ergonomic pillows. As such I've had to resort to trying all sorts of pillows. I think I've tried probably 10 different types now from honeycomb gel to the usual memory foam, and from flat to donut, and to the "U" shaped ones.So far I've found the most success from these "U" shaped pillows. They take some of the pressure off the trail bone area so my pain doesn't come on right away. Basically it lets me sit for longer, but the pain will eventually catch up to me. Now, not all "U" pillows are made the same. Some use a softer foam that when you sit on it compresses down to almost nothing. These don't do too much for me as it's almost the same as sitting on the chair. I had found one other brand, called Sangor, on Amazon that worked well and had been my daily pillow. It has nice memory foam that's not too hard and not too soft, with good thickness. What intrigued me about the Protarc one, and why I wanted to try it, is the scooped bottom and the flare up at the tailbone. I decided to order it to try since I had never tried a pillow like this.When I recieved the ProtoArc pillow and opened it I thought the quality was fine. It doesn't have the velvety cover of the Sangor one I have. Instead it uses a neoprene like fabric. The ProtoArc pillow also has a grippy bottom so it doesn't slide around. It's a "sticky", grippy material. I do have some concern it may cause some wear on the chair material. Finally, I see the ProtoArc is a lot more contoured.After sitting on it for a few days now, I can say it is doing its job. It's firmer than my Sangor but still conformable. I do notice the "scoop" that your butt falls into. I can also feel the flare up in the back against my lower back. A little softer may be better for me but the ProtoArc still worked.If you have tailbone issues or pain in your lower back and/or posterior, do give the ProtoArc a try. One interesting thing I discovered is I have a ProtoArc ball mouse I got last year. It's a really well made mouse. It's interesting the varied things they make, but at least I know their products work well. Anyway, the ProtoArc pillow, and Sangor, have so far been the only pillows that has provided some comfort for me. Hence, why I say it's one of the best pillows I have tried so far!

Gleich vorab, das was ProtoArc hier abgeliefert hat, gehört für mich absolut in die Katergorie Top-Produkt!Ich wollte trotz ergonomischen Bürostuhl meinen Sitzkomfort bei längeren Home Office Sessions nochmal verbessern.Nicht das der Stuhl unbequem wäre, doch hatte ich bisher noch keinen Stuhl, welcher nach mehreren Stunden Sitzen immer noch das Komfortgefühl am Hinterteil geboten hätte.Abhilfe gibt es in Form von Sitzkissen, in jeder Form, Farbe und Größe bei Unmengen von Anbietern.Da ich auch schon eine vertikale Computermuas von ProtoArc besitze und hier schon von der Qualität und dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überzeugt war, fiel meine Wahl daher auch beim Sitzkissen auf diese Marke.Verpackt in einem hochwertig anmutenden Karton und eingeschweißt in Folie, entfaltet sich nach dem Entfernen dieser , ein Prachtstück von einem Kissen!Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos, der weiche Bezug ist abnehmbar und kann gewaschen werden und die Unterseite weist entsprechende Nopen auf, welche das Verrutschen erschweren bzw. verhindern sollen.Soweit ja nix besonderes, das haben die meisten anderen auch - so what!Die Offenbarung für mich kam eim erstmaligen längeren Sitzen auf dem Kissen und da muss ich sagen, hatte ich bisher noch nichts Vergleichbares unterm Hintern!Auch nach 3 bis 4 Stunden am Stück ist das Teil immer noch stinkebequem!Für mich das perfekte Kissen, bei dem auch längere Sessions einem das Gefühl geben, auf Wolken zu sitzen.Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits!

Nach einer Rückenverletzung ist dieses Kissen genau das richtige.
