These are very fun and keep my 5 year old twins entertained. None of ours have broken and they've been used to pick up big toy trucks, make "bridges", used for tug-of-war etc. They are definitely an OUTSIDE toy only, the elastic string is long and strong, so the ball comes back fast (and hard!) The velcro wrist strap is sturdy and stays latched. The ball is pretty hard, it's not squishy or soft. My kids are enjoying them.

I purchased these for my grandson to practice his reflex catching for baseball. Came in a package of 4. The first day one broke the second day a second one broke now on the third one. There is no way to fix them because the elastic goes into the ball, so you can’t get it back into the ball.
