Als junger Junge, der in Oregon aufwuchs, war Mike mit der schlechten Passform seiner Rucksackausrüstung unzufrieden. Er nahm die Sache selbst in die Hand, lernte von seiner Mutter das Nähen und schuf seinen ersten Rucksack. Es wäre nicht sein letzter.

Ik heb hem teruggstuurd want hij voldeed absoluut niet aan mijn verwachting.De bedoeling is dat het je rugzak beschermt bij luchthaventransport, dat de riemen niet komen vast te zitten, maar heeft zelf een loshangende riem die je niet kan verwijderen.Verder nergens mogelijkheid om de hoes aan te passen aan de grootte van de rugzak... nee, echt niet goed

The airporter allowed easy checking of our packs, keeping all zippers, buckles and straps safe while allowing us to lock it with our TSA locks.We'll don't Osprey! And it arrived in 1 day!!

This bag is amazingly strong for a 80 liter backpack. I got the biggest version and I am so glad I did. It can take a lot of beating and holds superb! The zipper as well as the entire material is very strong and torn proof.

The Large Airporter weighs 527g and breaks down to about 11x7x3.5 inches. It stuffs into itself and has a little handle for carrying, transport, or hanging. The padded, one shoulder strap is comfortable enough to transport a loaded bag but not for any extended period of time when weighed down. The handle stashes into a small pocket at the top of the bag but it would have been nice to have some kind of clasp or closure on that pocket. The strap could be dislodged when getting tossed by baggage handlers. The gag opens about 40% and that places the carry handle when closed right in the middle. This makes the balance good and easy to carry when full. From seam to seam the bag is approximately 36x15x15 inches for an idea for size. This bag also works for storage for hiking bags, sleeping bags/air mattresses, and you name it when not being used to transport hiking bags. Overall the quality is what you'd expect from Osprey and has a very thoughtful layout. The material itself did not let any water through while ran under a tap but the zippers are not sealed and nor are the seams so it could take some water but might leak if in a puddle or super heavy downpour for a period of time. Overall good bag for what it was intended and more. Recommended!

We love Osprey products. I have to admit this is a little strange one since it doesn't really say exactly what it is and what it is for. This is basically a bag for your bag. If you've seen the loose sacks that people use for putting child car seats on airplanes as luggage, this is basically the same idea for your backpacking backpack. It keeps all the buckles and straps from getting caught in anything as your backpack goes through the system of conveyors and rollers that checked bags go through.This has the usual Osprey quality you would expect with strong zipper and clean seams.While this is a big expensive for what you get, it is nice to have the Osprey logo to match your backpack.Overall happy with the "Osprey Airporter Protector for Backpack".
