I purchased this hose to replace my original which started to leak. When comparing to OEM hose the new one already looked less rugged and cheaper. Installation went well and quick though. However, the hose did not last even a 5 km; it popped when I turned into parking place making oily mess beneath the car and inside engine compartment. Luckily I was close to home and able to drive back without assisted power steering. It proves again that Chinese copies are just worthless and waste of both money and time and that one has to look for original Chrysler or Mopar parts. I can only recommend staying away from this hose.

Metallic tubing portions of this hose were NOT bent to exact OEM specifications. The tubimg had to be adjusted to conform to original specs. This caused some additional time and effort in repair of the vehicle. A typical "backyard mechanic" DIYer would not have been able to use this replacement hose. It does the job properly but installation was not easy. Would not recommend this replacement hose be purchased by the home mechanic without experience in, and tools for, bending high pressure tubing.

I installed this and the hose popped on me after a few hundred miles. Literally popped and I pulled over, it was squirting steering fluid everywhere. Drove home 3 hrs w no power steering, with bigger tires and a lift I might add. Omix sent me a new one but as you may know these things are a pain the the butt to get threaded on. Not fun. I have about 20 miles on my new one... We will see how long it lasts.
