I'm not sure who came up with the idea of designing this tool from Novelfun or what market is it intended for, but it proves itself pretty useless in Germany.Basically out of the 3 attachments that are intended for light bulbs, only the smallest one can grab a normal E27 bulb (50-60 mm in diameter). Problem is that this attachment is a bit too tight for such bulbs and it might break them.Candle like E14 bulbs are simply much too small for this tool.Overall the build quality is so-so, not too bad, but not good enough for the price.At least the rod is pretty well made and can be used for other purposes.

Reaching high ceilings is no longer a challenge with this tool. It feels sturdy and allows for changing bulbs securely without wobbling or needing a ladder. The attachments make it adaptable to different bulb types, and the grip is strong enough to hold the bulbs firmly. Saves a lot of time and effort when dealing with tricky fixtures.

This extendable light bulb changer arrived in a sturdy cardboard box.The box contains ten 39cm/15” aluminium poles (which lock into each other to get the desired length), three bulb cages and a suction cup. The bulb cages each have eight arms with a metal spring around the top.This kit seems like a good idea but it fails in practical use.The bulb cages are quite large and only the smallest one will grip a standard sized bulb (see picture). Even this smallest cage is too big for a candle bulb (see picture).Obviously, this is useless with pendant bulbs and is designed for bulbs in fixed holders.I decided to donate it to my rugby club that has several R50 ES bulbs set into recessed holders in the ceiling so I thought it would be perfect for these.Unfortunately, when we tried it we found that the gap between the bulb and the recessed metal housing simply isn’t large enough for the cage to slide into.I’m sure this kit would be very useful with very large threaded bulbs that are in fixed holders and completely exposed but for general use with standard bulbs and fittings it simply doesn’t work. I’m only giving 2 stars because I can see it would be useful in certain limited circumstances.

This pole is very compact and easy to store. It screws easily together to form the assembled piece and it is then surprisingly rigid. The three different sized heads are also easy to fit, and when being used the rotation required to release a bulb also works to tighten the poles joints, which is good, as more force is generally required to release a bulb that has been in place for some time.All of our bulbs in ceiling fittings are of the bayonet type, so this tool does not work, or very poorly. Should be good for the screw in bulb types.I will use this for geocaching, where I need a pole to remove geocaches that have been hooked onto branches of a tree some height above what you could reach unaided. For this application this set up is great, as it fits neatly into a backpack and is quick to deploy, so brilliant for my application.
