Been suffering multi cylinder misfire on 2009 Mini R56 and was about to follow "expert" advice by checking plugs, ignition coils, fuel injectors, fuel pump, even the timing chain and oxygen sensor. Some internet forums even suggest checking out the ECU but fortunately came across Robin's review saying that replacing the camshaft position sensor cured his misfire problem. So tried just replacing the exhaust cam sensor with this unit. And hey presto, fixed the problem, saving hours of work and god knows how much if I had the various components professionally tested!

2010 Mini 1.6 petrol (N16B16a) thowing a P0343 error, swapped the two camshaft sensors around and fault followed the faulty one. Replaced the failing sensor with this item and cleared error code and so far so good.
