The interface of the cup holder does not match that of most devices. It is either too loose to fall off easily or too tight to be installed

Fits a variety if cups and easy to install. Also, thick material. Doesn't feel cheap.

Some accessories feel optional. Others, once you use them, make you wonder how you ever lived without them. The Niphean Paddleboard and Kayak Cup Holder belongs squarely in that second category. It’s simple, smart, incredibly handy, and frankly, should come pre-installed on every SUP board sold today.🧱 Build Quality & Design:The plastic is top-tier — it’s the same tough, UV-resistant polymer you’ll find in premium water sports equipment, not that brittle, dollar-store stuffThe color is rich and matches perfectly with my board — yes, aesthetics matter when your Instagram’s at stakeThe design is clean and functional, with just the right depth and flare to hug your drink securely, even when you’re gliding through chop or getting taunted by boat wake🥤 Compatibility & Functionality:It fits two major cup types thanks to the tapered design:A narrow base (70mm) grips standard insulated bottlesA wider top (92mm) comfortably fits soda cans and larger tumblersEven better, when it’s not holding a drink, it becomes a multi-tool cubby: keys, sunglasses, snack bar, sunblock, or a phone (with case) all drop in securelyI didn’t expect to love it this much — but not having to fumble in drybags or deck pouches for essentials mid-paddle is a game-changer🛠 Mounting & Compatibility:Comes with two easy install options:1/4" bolt mount for GoPro base compatibilityElastic rope slot that grips onto standard deck bungees (diameters Both mounting methods are secure and straightforward, with no tools or drama requiredIt sat perfectly on my SUP — no wobble, no slipping, and zero effort to install🎯 Practical Bonus Use (Not Recommended):My dog promptly claimed it as a chew toy. She gives it five stars for texture and portability.I had to reclaim it with some stern negotiation and now it has some teeth marks, but hey, it survived a canine field test, which speaks volumes about its durability.🧠 Why This Is a Must-Have:You think you’ll balance your water bottle on the deck — you won’tYou think you’ll hold it between your knees — you really shouldn’tYou think a cheap pouch works just as well — it doesn’tThis holder brings organization, safety, and one-hand accessibility to your paddle outingsFinal Verdict:The Niphean Cup Holder is the thing you didn’t know you were missing until it’s right there on your board, quietly improving your paddle session. From its solid material to the perfect fit for drinks and gear, it’s both thoughtfully designed and flawlessly executed. Easily one of my favorite SUP upgrades.Pros:✓ High-quality UV-resistant plastic, built for outdoor abuse✓ Perfect fit for two standard drink sizes✓ Dual mounting options: GoPro bolt or bungee cord✓ Can hold more than drinks — phone, sunscreen, keys, snacks✓ Simple to install and rock-solid once mounted✓ Great color match and visual design✓ Dog-resistant (not dog-proof)Cons:✗ Not included with all paddleboards (it really should be)✗ If your dog likes chewing plastic, be warned: they’ll want it tooBottom Line:This should be a standard-issue SUP accessory. It adds functionality, declutters your deck, and makes you wonder how you paddled without it. Just don’t let your dog get to it first.

This is a very wide cup holder and made of strong, durable, and slightly flexible, plastic. You have the option of bolting it down into your kayak or slipping it through your ropes. I like how you don't have to untie anything to do the latter. You can just take one or two of your bungees and fit it into the slots they have at the bottom of the holder, which also doubles up as spill holes! If you plan on bolting it on, you most likely would need to tap a hole into your kayak and likely need a longer bolt than the ones they supplied, so you can tie a washer with a gasket unto it. I don't want to ruin my $3000 kayak, so I guess I am stuck with tying it into the bungees. My wife will probably do the same with hers. This design isn't perfect either and I can see how it would flop around quite a bit if the surf started to act up (we do a lot of ocean kayaking). Also, we usually bring cans with us to drink from, so we will probably have to invest in some larger size cozies or larger containers to dump the cans into. It all still beats laying that open can between your legs and having a cold splash right where you don't want it!Anyways, I am pretty happy with this product and they are exactly what we needed!Thank you for reading my review! 🙏
