Ιt is quite sturdy and solid, and in my case, I have a heavy lens and with the addition of the cage on the Canon R50, I have better control in my hands. The installation is very easy and quick.

Love my R50 (the most underrated beast of a camera). Switched from the 70D & this cage fits really nicely, increased the grip (much needed, as the R50 is quite compact) & adds some protection, while not adding a ton of weight. I’m disabled & the size and weight savings has been very helpful. I recommend the R50, as well as this fantastic cage, as a combo all the time.

Recentemente ho acquistato una Canon R50 come prima fotocamera e nonostante abbia le mani piccole ho sempre avuto una leggera difficoltà nell'impugatura, ma con questo cage il problema svanisce.La differenza di peso con/senza gabbia si sente poco ma la cosa importante è il feeling che risulta premium, non come certe plastiche che si trovano altrove.Inoltre fornisce l'aggancio per ulteriori accessori MOLTO utili al fine di progredire nel mondo della Video/Fotografia.Prodotto assolutamente consigliato 👍🏻

Does it’s job protecting my canon camera and keeps me from worrying about my camera then actually recording videos, that said the cage allows me to add certain accessories and still have enough space for grip and pressing all the buttons needed on the camera 10/10 cage in my opinion

I usually purchase SmallRig cages for my cameras but this Neewer cage fits better and doesn’t obstruct the buttons and dials like the SmallRig version plus it seems as well made as the SmallRig one though more of a plain design which I do prefer it doesn’t shout look at me when you are out and about. The cage makes the R50 easier to hold and adds a bit of weight which helps to stabilise the micro jitters which you can get from hand holding the camera. It’s also excellent value for money which is a bonus.

Ich habe mir die R50 als Zweitkamera neben meiner R6 gekauft. Da ich die Kamera vor allem zum Filmen nutzen möchte und bereits viele Anbauteile wie Griffe besitze, habe ich mich direkt nach einem Cage umgesehen und mich für diesen hier entschieden.Im Grunde lässt er für meine Bedürfnisse auch keine Wünsche übrig. Die Montage ist mittels des drei Punkte Systems sehr solide, alle Tasten und Anschlüsse bleiben erreichbar und auch dem Pop-Up Blitz, dem Akkufach und dem dreh- und schwenkbaren Display ist der Cage nicht im Weg.Seitlich und oben gibt es genug Montagemöglichkeiten für Griffe und anderes Zubehör (auch mit ARRI Pins), unten ist der Cage direkt Arca-Swiss kompatibel, wodurch ich die Kamera direkt in Rigs integrieren oder mit meinem Gimbal oder Stativen nutzen kann.Gut ist auch, dass der Griff der Kamera durch den Cage vergrößert wird, sodass die Kamera besser in der Hand liegt. Bei anderen Kameras lasse ich den Cage nicht montiert, weil er mich beim Fotografieren eher stört - bei der R50 werde ich ihn aber definitiv permanent installiert lassen.An der Unterseite ist magnetisch auch das nötige Werkzeug verstaut, das kennt man auch von anderen Herstellern.Aus meiner Sicht ist der Cage eine 10/10 und bekommt somit die vollen fünf Sterne von mir.
