True to size and makes a big difference when riding! I should’ve ordered a long time ago.If purchased at a special store you pay a lot more money.I ordered 2 extras and was waiting with fear that was a different item( due to all the negative comments) but it was a good thing I ordered! They’re nice, same sturdy material and fit perfect!!! I machine wash them; but don’t put in dryer, let them air dry. Worth the wait and money!!

I was on the fence if I wanted to get padded bike shorts and there is a large range of prices and styles available. These were a good intro pair that didn't break the bank but I could definitely feel a difference on my longer rides. I would recommend these for the 10-30 mile range, but if you are doing more than that go for the higher end padded shorts. Only gripes are that the calf area is really tight and gets uncomfortable, and the drawstring broke on my first ride, some areas rub a bit as well. But, you get what you pay for and like I said, good to try if you're on the "padded butt" fence for biking.

At the height of "COVID season," we were getting weary. My family and I decided to all purchase bikes thinking it would be no big deal. Little did I know (or remember) how much it can hurt your rear end to sit on a bike. I had gotten a padded seat but it just wasn't enough for me and I was still super sore. My neighbors would say just keep going you'll get used to but of course, they're not curvy so they have no idea how uncomfortable I was. I decided to buy these pants in addition to using the padded bike seat. BEST IDEA EVER!! The combo with the bike seat and cushion bike pants finally allowed me to ride more comfortably. Now if only I kept up with it, haha!

I'm always a little wary of buying bike pants online, because sometimes they are like a sausage casing, or you feel like you're wearing a big fat diaper. These were neither. Even though I'm considered "tiny" by friends, it's an illusion. I'm around 125, 5'1" and built like a brick shithouse (my opinion). I'm not a waif, I have curves and my "thigh gap" is more like a keyhole. So here's my take on the pants: I bought a medium, and they are not too tight. They fit "close" the way you'd expect a tight to fit without the compression factor, which I cannot stand. The padding is appropriate. Ladies, you won't feel like you are wearing an overnight maxi pad (holla!) and I found the cushioning to be comfortable on the bike seat. I'm not a crazed cyclist--I will go out for long rides, but on a hybrid bike. I just don't want to have discomfort or pressure on the naughty bits, and these pants did the job.
