Cannot wait to put it in the tree in front of my window and see some squirrels coming 😍😍 the build quality is really good! Worth the money 🙊

I like to think of my home as an animal sanctuary, and I have bird and squirrel feeders all over my yard. This is my latest squirrel feeder, and I love it! It is not only attractive but has great functionality. The wood is solid and will stand up to the typical chewing that you see on feeders for rodents. The squirrels have a platform to stand on, so they don't have to hang from the tree to get their food. They have the option of standing on the platform and getting the food spilling from the bottom of the hopper/feeder, or they can enter thru the upper hole and access the food and bigger nuts easily. The feeder comes with the mounting hardware already attached and 2 long nails to hammer into your tree for mounting and stabilizing. I normally would have switched to screws, but the included nails were long enough to secure the feeder well enough to for me to be confident that even the fattest of squirrels would not displace the feeder. I love it and expect my squirrels will also. And, come Summer, it may even draw some chipmunks!!

Das Futterhäuschen ist heute pünktlich angekommen und hat gleich seinen Platz erhalten.Tolles Design, eine gute Größe. Gefüllt ist es auch schon mit speziellem Eichhörnchenfutter. Nun fehlen nur noch die richtigen Besucher. Mein Mann befürchtet, dass sich dort auch die Ratten bedienen werden. Mal schauen.Nachtrag: Es hängt seit 1 Woche, kein einziges Eichhörnchen hat sich bisher blicken lassen. Nur Elstern waren dran. Und zu guter Letzt wurde es tatsächlich von einer Ratte komplett geplündert. Schade.

Only glue and some thin staples held the roof on. Fell off in shipment. I nailed it back on. Otherwise great and our backyard squirrels are enjoying

This is well-made with a nice, sturdy wooden design that looks great in the yard and feels like it’ll hold up over time. The squirrels took to it right away—I’ve seen them happily munching on corn and peanuts, and it’s been fun to watch. It’s easy to fill and clean, which is a big plus, and it mounts securely to a tree or post without any hassle. I don’t have any real complaints; maybe just that it can attract other critters like birds occasionally, but that’s not a big deal. I’d definitely recommend this feeder to anyone looking to keep squirrels entertained and away from bird feeders—it’s a solid choice!

This is really amazingly well built and such a nice looking squirrel feeder I am really surprised at the low price. The cedar wood that they used is of good quality. It is pretty dense and has been burnished with a flame to give it an aged appearance. It comes fully assembled. All you do is unfold the front deck down and mount it. I will have to wait to mount this outside because I will want to coat it with varathane first. This looks very nice and I don't want it to age prematurely. I am very happy with this squirrel feeder although the squirrels I have are a larger gray squirrel not likely they will fit inside. I am sure the Douglas squirrel would love to have this feeder. I will mount it low enough so that I can easily refill it I'm sure the squirrels will spend all day in it. It is screwed together not nailed with those tiny little nails you commonly see and it has hinges that are screwed in and they could easily be replaced if needed. I think if I placed it somewhere undercover it would be fine but this is such a nice looking and well-built feeder I want to ensure it maintains its appearance so I will have to protect it before I mount it. Obviously it is easy to use as the one side of the roof lifts up and you just dump your food inside. A large shelled peanut will come out of the opening I don't know about large acorns though. It is very nice especially for the cost I may have to buy another one.I got this squirrel feeder so that I can give the squirrels in my yard food they really want so they are not trashing through my bird feeders scattering seeds they are not interested in all over the ground.
