These are really inconsistent and I am not sure I have what I ordered. There is a cheaper version of this product at £8.99 (I ordered two of the £11.99) and I believe I have one of the more expensive and one of the cheaper ones. They will do the job but not sure I got what I paid for.

Lightweight and a good size.Not suitable for any contact training.

No cracks or damage in the wood and has good finish.

This beech tanto is not as hard as oak, and it doesn't need to be given it's a training weapon. This tanto sits perfectly in the hand because it is slightly wider and shorter than the red oak tantos that are available. The whole palm is engaged with this one, enabling a superior, non-slip grip. My enjoyment training with this runs deep.
