Absoluter Schrott, kann ich nicht empfehlen. 90%staub gehen ins Umfeld und 10% in den Behälter

Why has no one else thought of this besides Makita? Imagine a mini vortex being attached to the dust chute hole - that's what it is. It's almost like adding a 2 stage system. This catches the items that will actually go through the dust chute first. But, as you know tons more dust escapes that dust port pick up and you have saw dust all over the place. Let's face it - you could connect a hugely powerful dust collection hose to the 2 inch dust port but is still misses MOST of the dust no matter what.So....... I use this with a Rousseau 5000L Lighted Dust Shroud which itself has a 4" dust port built in. Between these two items it's the best you can get with out putting the entire Miter Saw in it's own cubicle (like a paint booth) and a major dust cleaning system hooked to that.

Adding this $45 accessory is a somewhat expensive gamble, but it actually does work. My saw sits on top of my workbench, and after cutting a 2x4 once, I've got dust behind the machine and all over the floor behind it as well. The dust box takes care of pretty much all the dust that would spray onto the floor behind the saw, but the table still gets dust since the area directly behind the blade spews it out also.Plugging my Shop-Vac into the saw reduced the rear dust spew by about 80%, the Makita acc'y gets all of it.It does make for less clean-up time, less frequently, so I gave it 5/5.One downside is that no instructions came with the unit, and I couldn't find anything online, so I wasn't sure if you're supposed to use this with or without a vacuum. I figured the vacuum would give it the advertised "vortex" action. I used it without vacuum and it catches plenty of sawdust that way.

Ich habe dieseStaubbox auf der Makita Kapp- u. Gehrungssäge LS 1018 L montiert (einfach auf den Anschlussstuzen aufgesteckt).Staubbox funktioniert tadellos, viel angenehmer als vorher mit dem Staubfangbeutel. Der Behälter hat ein angenhmes großes Volumen. Man kann gut den Füllzustand der Staubbox erkennen, im Gegensatz zum Staubfangbeutel.Die Entleerungsklappe ist groß, deshalb ist der Behälter sehr gut zu entleeren. Der Verschluß für die Klappe ist sehr gut zu bedienen.Es fliegen nur ganz wenige Sägespähne vorbei. Der Preis ist sehr hoch, aber die Funktion ist halt voll da.Fazit: Sehr gut durchdachte Konstruktion, es macht richtig Spass das Ding an der Maschine montiert zu sehen.
