I don't think there is really any room for improvement, this mini cruiser is fully loaded with premium parts and well-designed to take on any challenge. A pro performance board that takes cruising to the next level.Everything from the wheels to the trucks to the grip to the board itself, the construction and maneuverability is unreal. The wheels are buttery smooth and adapt to a multitude of terrains, the board is balanced, comfortable, super responsive and easy to ride.It is ready to go out of the box and comes with a fun set of stickers. This is a high end board that performs extremely well. It is so well-thought out and the perfect blend of thrash and slash. You can tell this company not only knows what they are doing, but loves it too. Next time I'm in the market for a board, I'll be checking out their other products; the quality is absolutely stellar on this one.

I skated for most of my childhood. I have always wanted a "longboard" or cruiser and just never bought one. I would always borrow them from friends and we would go riding, but I would then go back to short boarding / tricks, etc. Now I am too old for tricks, but still like to ride. I wanted something versatile and fun. This board is it!Size/Features: I knew I was going to like it when I saw that is still had the kick tail, so in a way it is almost hybrid between a long board and short board. It is actually slightly shorter than my standard length "short board" as you can see in the photos. It is higher off of the ground because of the big smooth riding wheels. The board is slightly wider than my "short board" as well, which is good for cruisin with these size 12s. The board has an extra set of holes for mounting the trucks because there are 2 stances you can ride as it explains in the product description. So far I like the one it came setup with, but I may experiment more with it later.Performance: This board is fast like the other long boards I have been on. The trucks turn well and I haven't needed to adjust them yet. I like them medium squishy. Obviously you don't want them too rigid or you can't turn and too squishy where you get speed wobble. I haven't bombed a big hill yet, so I suppose that will be the test of whether or not they need to be tightened. I had a blast riding this board around my neighborhood and I am really looking forward to spending some more time on it!This board is perfect for me because I wanted something smaller than a really long long board, but something bigger than a penny board. I love it. 5 stars all the way! I hope this review is helpful!

Let me preface this review saying that I am a skateboarding novice. I don't do anything particularly special, but I thought it would be nice to have a high quality board to learn on, and this is indeed a high quality skateboard. The entire thing feels robust and sturdy. The materials used are all high quality, everything is nicely assembled, and the wheels are incredibly smooth rolling. The trucks are made from dense and well finished metal. The board itself is wide and stable with a grippy top. The graphics on the bottom are bright, bold, and fun. Even with all of the high quality materials, the board isn't overly heavy, and it's compact enough to toss into a car trunk or carry. All in all... a high quality skateboard with an attractive design.

The Loaded Ballona Moby is fun board. They describe it as a “mini longboard,” which I feel is just another way of saying “wider mini cruiser,” since that’s about the size realm that it exists, at almost 28 inches (27.75, to be exact) and 9 inches wide. This is great is you have larger feet. The deck has a rocker design and is definitely wedged in the front, but the back looks a lot milder, if there is even any angle difference at all. The concave is nice and feels comfortable underfoot, and the ability to adjust your wheelbase is nice, because options can be good. The board art looks great. And finally, the grip tape is grippy. Overall, I like the deck a lot.The Moby comes with Paris V2 150mm 50-degree trucks. These are reverse kingpin (RKP) trucks and will behave nice and carve-y. The Orangatang Fat Free wheels (65mm x 37mm, 86a durometer) roll well and have rounded lips, which is good if sliding is your thing; and if it isn’t, they’re still good wheels that offer plenty of grip. The Loaded Jehu V2 bearings aren’t my favorite bearings, but they’re still good and they’re also a complete bearing, which means no messing about with spacers or speed rings, which is very nice. The Loaded button head hardware looks good and should put less stress on the deck over time than a countersunk head, also very nice.So how does this whale ride? Well, on the Loaded website, the title says “Shrimp of a board. Whale of a good time,” and I’d have to agree. Being well-designed and built of quality components means this board fun to ride. My street has a decent slope to it, and it’s fun to makes a few wide carves and then zip down the rest of the way to the cul-de-sac. Having RKP trucks on a board like this, is a playful, yet fairly stable setup, and like I mentioned, the 9-inch-wide deck with 150mm trucks is great when you have big feet. To give a frame of reference, wear size 13, so I added a picture of my shoes on the deck and also took a side-by-side with a 35-inch longboard. All in all, the board is good fun.And don’t forget to wear your safety gear.Note: The screws/holes you see on the tail are from me mounting a tailbone to protect the deck.

I've ridden a fairly diverse range of long boards and have always been impressed with Loaded boards. For reference, Loaded's Vanguard deck was my go-to board for a long time. Long story short Loaded has once again hit it out of the park. This board is impeccable. It looks beautiful, it has a really nice shape, it rides wonderfully, and all of the components are top notch. I honestly wouldn't replace anything out of the box. This thing is good to go as is.Some mini-cruiser style decks feel stiff and rigid due to their short nature, not the case here! This board has a little flex, is nimble, and just all around fun to ride. There is a bit of concave to the deck with helps hold my feet in place and gives me great control. The Paris trucks are carvy and agile.I really don't have any complaints with this board. If you are looking for a mini-cruiser board and dig the amazing art on this one, go for it! I can easily recommend this board. I'd really like to convert this board to an electric one as it is such a nice commuter size. Maybe I'll throw some surfskate trucks on it and try it as a surf skate as well!
