This album features the bands lineup that continued after the death of iconic frontman and the bands co-founder Lonesome Dave in 2000. Charlie Huhn stepped in for lonesome Dave on lead vocals and guitar. Bryan Bassett joined in 1999 and replaced Erik Cartwright who replaced founding guitarist Rod Price after the Tight Shoes album in 79.The rhythm section of Craig Macgregor and founder Roger Earl first played back in the 1970s and were recorded together on the iconic first Foghat live album in 1977. This album titled Live ll takes the energy found in the Foghat Live album and turns it up a notch. This album showcases just how great this band is live. Foghat has always been known as a band that had to be experienced live to really be appreciated. I have seen the band live multiple times since the first time in the 1970s and I have seen every lineup, including the current one. I have never been disappointed as every lineup has been fantastic live!! The lineup on this release put on a killer live show and had no let down in energy or talent from the bands original lineup!! I love playing the Foghat Live album and Foghat Live ll back to back. The only problem Is the danger of melting or blowing my speakers. This album has to be played loud to be fully enjoyed!! This album is a must for any Foghat fan and a must for any fan of great boogie and blues rock!!

Foghat ,habe sie in den 70 ziegern im Peppermint-Beach-Club in den USA gesehen,eifach eine tolle Scheibe.

What a fantastic live album,honestly one of the best live releases i've bought in decades,a quite stunning performance from the revamped line up with Bryan Bassett (Ex Molly Hatchet) on lead guitar absolutely tearing it up.the rest of the band Drummer Roger Earl sole original member,long standing Bass player Craig Mcgregor and former Ted Nugent vocalist Charlie Huhn dove tail perfectly on a mixture of classics and new tracks ,im loathe to try and pick favourites but opener 'Nightshift on Disc 1 and opener on disc 2 'Calafornia Blues' are mesmeric the guitar solo's will have the hairs standing up on the back of your neck Throw in several rehearsal recordings and this album will have you smiling fom ear to ear.Magnificent stuff.

Was für ein Hammer-live-album! Einige Klassiker von Foghat live, aber auch reichlich neuere Songs im Blues und Boogie Hard Rock Sound. Bei dem Konzert wäre ich gern dabei gewesen... Klasse Sound!!!
