Make sure this plier is the right one for your job.This plier has a smooth jaw, meaning no serration. There is another plier which is serrated. It won't grip like your normal pliers.Also, the pivot point is in the middle of the plier, it won't multiply your grip force.

Product arrived today in a timely fashion, wrapped in bubble wrap within a ‘Jiffy’ style padded shipping bag.With jaws open these pliers have several extremely sharp exposed edges around the joint area. Click photo below to enlarge; three of the hazardous edge areas are visible and marked.Apparently a design issue. There was no packaging other than the bubble wrap and no warnings label/s of any kind. I came very close to slicing my hand open.Nice looking pliers otherwise; haven’t decided if they’re to be returned... or possibly reworked to render safe.Review posted 4/26/2017 and will be updated as experience warrants.---
