Qualität und Verarbeitung sind gut. Allerdings kann man sie nicht für Standardpedale verwenden. Das sollte man vor dem Kauf beachten!Es benötigt für die Nutzung spezielle Schnellspannpedale mit einem Schnellverschluss!!!

I got this pair of fittings based on the headline description: ‘bicycle pedal extender, quick release pedal adapter distance extension with quick release system.I thought this meant that it was a way of converting standard threaded pedals into removable, which would be really useful if you carry your bicycle on public transport. Alas, these fittings are meant for special ‘quick release’ pedals that are used quite a lot on mountain bikes, apparently (though also on some folding bikes). It’s worth making the distinction between ‘quick release’, which is often taken to mean standard SPD *shoe release* or similar systems and a more appropriate term: ‘pop-off’ which means the whole pedal is removable.That said, these fittings are really well made with excellent machining throughout and they screw into the standard 9/16” threads found on standard pedal cranks. The quick release collars are very discrete with a good action. Inadvertent release is prevented by the two strong plastic clips that are also included.Fitting is the same as standard pedals, though there’s only room for a maximum 3.5mm thickness pedal spanner.Most pedals with this type of fitting come with the adapters already. There are quite a few cage-type mountain bike pedals with this fitting on Amazon. Should you buy or be fortunate enough to own such pedals, these adapters would be a handy way to be able to have just one set of pedals and be able to use them on a second bike without having to get the spanners out. I guess they would also be useful replacements if the quick release collar failed mechanically.Pros 👍:✔️ Very well made✔️ Lightweight at 56g/~2oz each✔️ Useful for folding or flat bikes, if you have the pedals that fit these adapters✔️ Adapters have standard 9/16” thread for standard cranksCons👎:❌ You need special pedals to use with these adapters – you can’t use standard pedalsIn Summary, a great ‘spare’ pair of adapters for removable pedals.

Important to realize that you need quick release pedals for these holders. Product arrived quickly and looked to be decent quality however I could not use as I did not have quick release pedals and could not screw them into this holder.

I have some nice removable pedals on my main bike, but I didn't want to buy a second set for my other bike.With those adapters, I can use the same pedals on both bikes without any issue.The protection clip works well, and it's impossible to remove the pedals without taking them off.
