This part is a pain to install because of the design of the pedal, not because of this replacement part. Unless you're good with tools, consider having an instrument tech do this job.

I just replaced this pot in my Ernie Ball VP JR. The pot is fairly easy to replace, HOWEVER, if you are replacing the pot, ALSO REPLACE THE STRING ! You have to remove the string anyway to install the new pot, so installing a new string is no extra effort and considering what a frustrating pain the string is, why not do it at the same time. You can order the string on Amazon as well. There are several videos on YouTube on how to do this. Also if you do not have "hook picks" being used on the videos, you should pick them up. You can get a small set at Harbor Freight for around 8 bucks.

I work a lot, and have been through all the volume pedals (MXR, Dunlop, Morley, etc.). I've stuck with the EB VP Jr. basically because every volume pedal is going to fail eventually, and the Ernie Balls are easily repairable.The volume pedal I've been using in my practice room was taken out of service because it was scratchy, and it jumped volume levels. Needed a new pot.Once you figure out how to it comes apart and goes back together, this is a trivial 15 minute repair (unscrew some things. de-solder, re-solder, screw it all back together). If you've ever worked on these pedals, you know that the remainder of your repair time will be spent getting it re-strung.It now sounds like a new pedal; hadn't realized how badly the old pot had degraded.

Perfetto come descritto, funziona a dovere, è solo complesso sostituirlo, smontare il pedale non è proprio un'operazione da fare in casa in due minuti, ma soddisfatto.
