This is a somewhat handy printer. It came with a few rolls of various paper and stickers. The software is pretty unpolished and cheap looking - makes the product look more like a toy than a serious printer.I ordered it to create labels on clear adhesive. This is difficult to find for these thermal printers - the closest is "transparent" which is a cloudy film that is more translucent than transparent. I had to order this separately, but it appears to be working okay. I will see if I can find other uses for this printer.

I've used label makers in the past, but this is my first time using a bluetooth one with an app. lt wasn't hard to find the right app in the App Store, and it wasn't hard to download it and get started. I was able to use the app as a guest; I'm happy that I didn't have to create an account.The instruction booklet is certainly lacking. It gave instructions for downloading the app, and also for orienting the roll of paper properly. It did not show how to adjust the cabin to hold different rolls of paper. Most importantly, it did not give any directions for how to use the app.The app was more complicated to use than I expected. It seems to be able to do lots of things. I just wanted to be able to print simple labels. It will take practice for me to get used to all the features. I've ended up pressing the "undo" button a lot, because I'll try to resize a symbol and will end up moving it instead, or I'll move the wrong object, or insert a new box when I didn't intend to. If the instruction manual explained how to do all these things, or if there was a tutorial upon first opening the app, I'm sure I would have avoided many of these struggles.When you are printing text, you are limited by the width of the label roll. The text will only print along the width of the roll, not the length of the roll. This won't work for creating long, narrow labels.Getting the rolls centered in the printer isn't easy. Several of our labels printed crooked because the paper wasn't centered just right.This set comes with some rolls that have precut labels and some that are a continuous roll. If you use the continuous roll, the sticker will have jagged edges where it comes out of the printer. You'll definitely need to trim those edges for a finished look. Of course, you can also use the pre-sized labels (there are some rectangular ones and some circular ones), if they are the size you're looking for.It's nice that this printer does not use ink. That's one less thing to replace. It is also very compact and lightweight.

This item was ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! Don't buy and waste your money. Item never recognized paper loaded. Never worked and no attempts at getting support were un answered. Buyer beware. This item is an absolute waste.

The app it tells you to connect to did not work. We played around with different apps and the one picture is the one that worked. Found it on accident. Other than that, it works great. Cute printer. Hope this helps if you're having a hard time connecting.
