The threshold of my shower curb was poorly designed and for years water has made its way out of the shower and on to the bathroom floor. Its a problem on many fronts.I found this product and installed it so that it is adjacent to the closed shower door position and under the the shower door base flashing. No more water on the bathroom floor.Simply clean the curb tile thoroughly, peel the adhesive backing, locate and press the threshold along the entire length to ensure a good seal and you're done.

This served to stop water from coming out from under our frameless shower door. The adhesive strip is very good but I also used a beed of silicone all around it and under the grout line this crossed over. Was easy to cut using a handbag and sanded the rough cut edge down using sandpaper.Can't understand why this was so much money though. For what it is, should be less than half the cost or less. There really is no other choice, so they can easily charge what they want.

I did not use this as a threshold barrier. I used it as a doorstop on my new glass shower door. The door would swing both in and out. So, I needed to stop it from swinging into the shower, so I used this product as a way to prevent the door from swinging into the shower where it would hit the faucet. Works very well in that application.

This solved our issue of water flowing past the door sweep. It does have an adhesive strip on the bottom but it’s not the same width as the acrylic strip so I feel like water would get under it, get moldy and be impossible to clean so I stuck it to the shower tile then ran a bead of clear silicone on both sides of the acrylic strip to keep it water tight.
