Super comfortable pack, this is my first ski-specific pack for resort skiing after using an 11L camelbak for years. This pack has a great feature set, and the size makes it great for being able to carry lots of gear for wandering into the side country, like a water bottle, some emergency supplies, full avy gear (minus airbag), etc. The top handle is nice and wide, which makes it super easy to use with big gloves on. Plus the color scheme is AWESOME on this bag.The diagonal ski carry is my new favorite. It's so quick and easy that I've started using it for carrying my skis from the car to the lift and back, as well as for short hikes in the resort. Sooo much better than skis over the shoulder if it's more than like 50ft of walking.My only minor gripe is that the pocket for shovel & probe has the zipper slightly lower than the top of the actual pocket, so I have to kind of angle my probe sideways to get it in and out, but then it fits fine inside the pocket as it sticks up higher than the zipper line. It's a weird design choice, why not just put the zipper 2" higher at the actual top of the pocket? Also if you really want to get you shovel out quickly, you'll need to unbuckle the 2 side buckles too as the pocket doesn't open very far with those connected. Both these things maybe add 3-5 seconds to get at your tools in case of an emergency (if you PRACTICE) but might slow down other people who aren't familiar with the pack.

Using this bag for 5 years. New version is better than the older one. It is nice and handy bag. Easy to reach everything.
