A needed item for such a pricey camera! Effective thick silicone that protects the body well from bumps and scrapes, can throw my camera in my bag/purse without worry now. Lens cap is a lovely added touch too for extra security. Doesn't obstruct any camera functions and buttons still work as they should as does the flash etc. Screen still folds out fine, no problems except I've seen this elsewhere at better affordable asking price.

This silicone case is all around just "fine". It is what it says, a silicone case that's meant to surround and protect your Canon G7X Mark III. Grip is adequate, with a small textures section around the right side of the camera. The Canon and G7X logos are cut out, which is a nice touch. All the button and dials are still accessible, although some are harder to use with the silicone cover on. The main examples being the exposure compensation dial and the zoom rocker, which are now slightly recessed into the silicone case. It's not a deal beaker, but it does make the camera a tad bit more irritating to operate. I do like that the front ring has some cutouts, so it's still accessible under the silicone case. The case does have a piece that covers the lens when it's retracted, and flips outward when the lens extends. It's a nice inclusion, but I personally wasn't a big fan. Thankfully, it can be easily removed.All-in-all, this is just an average silicone case for your G7X III. By using this case, you're trading some usability for protection, so it's up to you to decide whether that's with it. While I can agree that this case does it's job, I personally don't enjoy it, so I'm going to be removing it from here out.
