The Bushnell Legend L series first became available in around 2015 and has since become discontinued and the list price back then in the UK was £379 or thereabouts but Amazon are still selling it in 2024… at a much reduced price ( I was lucky enough to find one on a warehouse deal in used like new condition) what a cracking bit of kit these are, the image through these legends is superb displaying vibrant true to life colours with excellent contrast & resolution. I directly compared the Legend L with a vanguard endeavour Ed ii, the new Nikon P7 and a vortex diamondback HD and optically to my eyes the Bushnell was the superior instrument plus build quality is very decent. The focus wheel is lovely and smooth with just the right amount of resistance, focussing is geared neither too slow or too fast, very user friendly. Now the question of eye relief… many retailers and including some very respected suppliers of binoculars gave the specifications of this 10x42 L as having 18mm of eye relief and I can safely say this is incorrect… eye relief is 15.2 mm, it even gives it as such on the back of the box and with glasses on the field of view was considerably restricted so if you do need to wear glasses when using binoculars take this into consideration. The other issue many people noted was that the objective lens caps were poorly designed and had a tendency to pop out & fall off, this has not been my experience whilst using this binocular out in the field, the caps once pushed inside the lenses stay put no problems encountered. The realtree camouflage is a nice change from the usual plain black and is very eye catching. Overall these legend 10x42’s make for an excellent birding, general wildlife binocular and to find anything better than these Legends you would probably have to spend considerably more, I’m thinking of zeiss conquest, Nikon monarch HG etc… i just don’t think the gains ( if there are any ) would be worth the extra investment.

Ottimo binocolo 10x42, eccellente trattamento antiriflesso, 64 gradi di campo apparente, corretti e o sfruttabili fino a 75% del campo, i colori sono abbastanza fedeli: bianco leggermente tendente al caldo, ma piacevole comunque, nitidissimo a centro campo, aberrazione cromatica appena percepibile in condizioni estreme, tipo oggetti e o animali osservati in forte controluce, la cromatica laterale è invece più evidente. Nel complesso ottimo binocolo per 340 euro, se li vale tutti considerando l'utilizzo di lenti a bassa dispersione e i trattamenti dei prismi a tetto che non presentano riflessi e spikes di notte osservando luci, ottimo risultato degno di binocoli più blasonati. Consigliato

Really sharp, virtually no abberations I can see. A bit on the heavy side, but feels real sturdy because of it. The case it came with is on the cheap side, but that's a detail. It won't be in its bag often anyway 😉. The things that matter, the optics, are OK! Definitely recommend.

Das Bushnell Legend L-Series 10x42 ist ein schönes Glas. Es ist gut verarbeitet und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Es riecht etwas nach Gummi. Das Gewicht ist zum Wandern gerade noch okay.Ich bin mit der optischen Leistung zufrieden. Als Vergleich hatte ich ein älteres Swarovski Habicht 8x30 und ein Swarovski CL Companion 10x30 - diese kosten um die 1000,- €.An diese beiden Ferngläser kommt das Buschnell Legend nicht heran - das Bild ist nicht so plastisch und die Farben sind bei den Swarovski Gläsern auch nochmal ein bisschen besser.Für den Preis ist aber das Buschnell ziemlich gut.

Ich dachte immer Bushnell ist eher etwas billiger, also nichts Hochwertiges.Hab mich getäuscht!Das Fernglas ist wirklich top,bin Jäger und kann mein Steiner 10x56 zu 80% im Auto lassen wenn ich auf Pirsch gehe😊Es muss nicht immer Zeiss,Swarovski,Leica .... sein.Absolute Kaufemfehlung

Vor kurzer Zeit kaufte ich mir ein Bushnell 8x42 Legend L- Serie, Preis Leistung war einfach super und so kaufte ich auch ein 10x42 Legend L aber da habe ich festgestellt das das 10 x42 gegen den 8x42 schon an Schärfe verliert. Aber das 10x42 liegt auch gleich gut in der Hand und das Gewicht ist auch gleich leicht wie beim 8x42 und so habe ich es trotzdem behalten weil der Preis zur Leistung und die Qualität meiner Meinung nach in Ordnung ist. Ich besitze auch ein Swarovski 10x42 SLC HD und einen Nikon Monarch 7 10x42 und so kann ich einen guten Vergleich machen.
