These trainers arrived in plastic packaging. The first thing I noticed upon opening was how flat they were, and they were not like normal trainers. They are designed to get wet during watersports or being at the beach, and so are not designed for hiking or being on your feet all day.They can be worn by men and women, and look stylish and modern. The sole is made from black rubber and has a grip meaning they are non-slip in water. The sole is flexible for when walking on rough ground, and feels thick enough to stop anything sharp getting to your feet. They are lightweight and almost feel like you have nothing on your feet, although the inside sole is a bit thin.The upper of the trainers are thin and made from a fabric that allows water to drain through. Due to the fabric uppers being thin, the trainers are flat when in storage. The upper has an elasticated opening to put your foot through, but it is a tight fit as the upper does not have a flap that can be opened when pushing your foot in. The laces cannot be undone like normal laces, and instead there is a plastic toggle so the laces can be pulled tight, and then the toggle adjusted.So these trainers are not like normal trainers used for walking, but instead they are designed for wearing in water perhaps at the beach or during watersports. The fabric is only thin but this is so the water can drain from them. They are a tight fit to push your foot into them, but this ensures that they don’t come off your feet when in water. As a trainer for wearing in water only, they are good quality and perfect.

I requested these shoes in a 6.5 knowing that they would be a little too big as they didn't have a size 6. I am glad to report that they are still wearable - there's a little space on my toes (which is a good thing) but the back doesn't rub much as you can just tighten the shoe to avoid excess movement.I wore the shoes on a long walk (about 1 hour) and found them super soft and comfortable. You don't get any of the toe squishing that you get with the typical Converse-style sneakers. I'm impressed.The current retail price is very reasonable for the quality of the shoe. I don't know how long they will last - only time will tell - but for now, I'm happy. Hopefully the vendors will start stocking all sizes soon.

I ordered these barefoot shoes for my girlfriend (she wears a 6.5 UK size). The fit is perfect and she tells me the shoes are so comfortable you'd forget you're wearing them. They are super lightweight, slip on easily, and are very flexible. They will be perfect for our upcoming beach holiday, pool area, hotel gym, or just to wear in and around the house. These are water shoes which will dry quick in the right weather so plenty of possible uses for sports and summer days. She loves them and would certainly recommend them.

These are well made shoes with a thin sole available at a very reasonable price. They are most suitable for use on the beach and in the sea - they have drain holes in the soles so perhaps not great for walking on pavements etc, although they can be used for that purpose.In terms of fit, I ordered a size 6 1/2 for my wife (her usual size). She says they fit perfectly and are very comfortable in use (she goes sea swimming every day).At under £20, these are a fantastic buy and highly recommended.
