Warm, comfortable, and so far truly waterproof! I generally wear a size 8.5 in Ariat footwear but after reading reviews here and considering the thicker socks of winter, I went a half size up and am glad I did. They fit perfectly, with a little room in the heel for the heels down position of riding. My feet are not wide enough for wide sizes but are sensitive to side compression. I would not want these to be any narrower but the fit is just wide enough, even with fairly thick socks on. Although they were very stiff coming right out of the box, the first day I wore them I forgot I was wearing new boots after a couple of hours. I have high arches and not very flexible ankles but have no trouble getting my feet in and out of these. Speaking of arches, there's decent support in these, enough for walking around all day. All in all, I'm thrilled I bought these boots, which provide the quality you expect from the Ariat name.

These boots are very well built and the leather is beautiful. However, they seem to fit small but I am sure will stretch with use but I recommend going a half size up if you plan on wearing socks heavier than thin riding ones.

Ich habe diese Schuhe bestellt, weil ich ebenfalls Ariat-Stiefel im Sommer trage und bis jetzt noch keine passenden Schuhe bei anderen Marken gefunden habe.Die Schuhe kamen in einem Plastikversandbeutel, mit einem Ebay Absender, was mich etwas irritiert hat, drin waren jedoch die bestellten Schuhe, neu und unbenutzt.Der Schuh an sich passte gut, auch wenn ich aus Erfahrung weiß, dass sich das Leder nochmal etwas dehnen wird. Warm sind sie auch, das konnte ich bei den momentanen Temperaturen schon gut testen.Für einen langen, schmalen Fuß passen die Schuhe sehr gut. Optisch wirken die Schuhe schlicht, ohne jedoch zu dick aufzutragen.

I waited weeks for these boots to arrive.They looked great but were a little tight and I could only wear them with thin socks. I am the smallest adult size, so I was surprised as most of their boots are on the roomy side for me.The boots are warm to wear, the insulation works well.The design is good, they are a tidy professional looking boot that look neat.The waterproof quality is not good. The first few times I wore them they were ok, but as time went on I noticed dark spots on my socks. As the weather got wetter, so did my socks and then my feet started to get wet. The leather has split and the waterproof membrane has failed.I am a professional equine trainer and at £160 I was expecting a good quality boot that did what it’s name says. H2O.I have contacted Ariat direct as my first concern was within a year of purchase.

I moved from Florida to the Midwest and continued to use my regular Ariat paddock boots during winter. This was a mistake. After one particularly cold day, causing me to have to sit with my feet under the warm air for my entire drive home and arriving home with still-numb toes anyway, I knew I needed something warmer. These fit great (I went up a half size) and my feet have yet to be cold this winter! I would definitely recommend these. The only downfall is that they are thicker at the top because of the insulation, making it harder to fully zip my half chaps (but not impossible). I just hope they don't stretch out the bottom of my chaps. I think it is to be expected though, that an insulated boot will be thicker than a non-insulated boot, and I'm ok with that.

Great boots, warm feet. Use Ariat as I have large prescription orthotics and the removable insole and rigid heel cup are necessary for them to fit and work well.
