This saw is not the largest you can get, but it is the perfect size for all those jeweler's saw blades that don't have a ball or pin connection, and is perfect for small detail work. The "blades" it comes with are good, but only for a project where you need to cut something INCREDIBLY tough, at a VERY slow pace. If you plan to cut sheet metal with it or anything of lower caliber, get some jeweler's saw blades that have a lower tooth count.I bought this and a small collection of blades to go with it, and I think I have something for almost any small-scale job now.

J’ai acheté cet article pour découper des petites pièces en bois ( carrées de 5mm d’épaisseur et 4 cm de côté).J’ai réussi à faire toutes les découpes que je voulais, ceci dit, la vis qui maintient le fil tendu se desserre régulièrement.Le manche ne tient pas bien non plus et s’enlève de la partie « scie ».

This saw is well made and strong, but will not cut through the glass that I was wanting it to.The error is on my part but this does cut, just not glass

The saw frame appears to be well made even though some rust was evident on the frame. The diamond wire was a bit of a disappointment. The wire did not cut through thin stone as easily as hoped and wore out quickly. I would not buy again.
