Wow... cant believe i waited so long to get some of these. I had a wire wheel for my grinder that i used for most stripping and general cleanup/stripping type tasks. It never worked that great, but I just figured that it was a slow process.I had a funky stain in a very old garage in a house I moved into. i suspect it was maybe years of dried, cured oil or something? Wire brush barely touched it.I threw one of these strip discs on the grinder, and within 5 minutes, i had the stain 75% gone and realized i should stop to take a pic for a review, because this was so much better! Now there is an awkward clean spot where there used to be an awkward dirty spot, but i prefer it.Its still a dirty, difficult, annoying task, but these make it so much faster.One thing to note is that these seem to break down a bit faster than i expected, and great some dust from that in addition to whatever you are grinding off. I believe that might be part of why they work so well, but it does mean that these are a disposable item. I got the entire stain off and touched up some other off stuff on my garage floor and the disc still has life in it though, so its not too bad.

Very fast removal of paint, filler, rust.Fairly aggressive, but quite controllable, compared to grit discs. They seem to last quite well so far. Good value.

I have used these Poly Abrasive Stripping Discs for removing paint and rust specifically from wood and metal and I can confirm that they are highly effective. The poly abrasive material ensures efficient grinding and consistent results. The durable fibre mesh construction provides excellent wear resistance and a long lifespan which is ideal for the practicality of this product. They fit perfectly onto my angle grinder (though please note they’re not compatible with Wagner Paint Eater or drills). The option to have a pack of 10 discs offers great value for heavy-duty tasks. However, they can wear down fairly quickly on very tough surfaces but to some extent this is expected.Overall, a reliable product for most stripping jobs and a reasonable price point of £37.99 (upon this review) for the quality of 10 discs. Therefore I do recommend these.

These stripping discs work really well for removing rust and paint from various surfaces. They’re easy to use with my angle grinder, and they provide consistent results. The durability is impressive, and they seem to last quite a long time, even with tough jobs. The 10-pack is a great value for anyone needing a reliable solution for heavy-duty tasks.

I prefer to use stripping discs rather than wire wheels, mostly because the wire wheels tend to shed pieces of wire when in use. I have no idea what the “poly abrasive” material is that they use in these discs, but it works well for removing rust and paint. They also do not get clogged up with paint like a flap wheel or sandpaper disc tends to do.Blue discs are usually a medium abrasive; falling between the harder, more aggressive purple discs and the softer, less aggressive black discs. However, there is no established standard for stripping discs, so these may or may not be a true medium disc.These discs hold up well if you avoid tearing them on sharp corners, and the ten pack is an economical way to have some spares on hand.
