The screen works incredibly well and is as good as advertised - which does come as a surprise to me. My dog and I are in and out repeatedly on a daily basis and the screen magnetic lock closure works pretty much every time. I did not use a full seal of fastening tape around the perimeter. Not sure whether that would have prevented the predictable issue I encountered - but the tack on the velcro melts in the reflected heat of the siding on the house and there's no way it was going to hold the screen in summer heat (even with a full perimeter seal, in my opinion). The velcro tack kept melting in the heat of the day and the screen would come down. My work-around for this, as I have run into the issue before, is to use a product called 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener which has a firmer tack and more secure plastic locking connection. I affixed the velcro tack to the 3M Fastener tape and that strengthened the tape tack sufficiently to remain fixed in place through the heat of the day.The screen is magnificent and with the dual-lock tape workaround it's kept the bugs out and the dog and me happy. This counts as a fairly incredible pet-friendly innovation that enables pets to have freedom to enjoy the outdoors without remodeling the door. I was pleasantly surprised it actually worked as advertised.

Visiting dogs tore last year's screens so I didn't want the same ones. I opted for this one. Cost a bit more but it looked stronger -- and now that it's here -- it feels stronger. Went up in minutes. Magnets are all the way down with minimal gaps. 31 pairs -- 62 magnets! Don't be fooled by those that say 52 magnets -- that's only 26 pairs. The weighted bottom is a bit light but the magnets pull it together as they should -- so shouldn't be a problem. Not available in white -- this is grey/silver and not black so that's not bad. I'm ordering more for my other 3 doors!

Every year I have to buy a new one of these stores because I have four dogs that go in and out and scratch the old doors. It's so heavy duty and dense that the dogs don't tend to scratch at it. I love it and I bought a second one to have it on hand for future years. It also has more magnets than any other door I've had which means it closes and opens better. I highly recommend this store for dog owners.

Great quality, easy install, sewn in magnets keeps entering and exiting quiet, velcro all way around door, strong hold, fits perfect, no gaps, looks classy (gray), can't see any bugs getting through the very fine mesh design. And, has weighted short bars sewn in the bottom. My cat hasn't yet figured out that he just needs to use a bit more force than he did on previous lightweight mesh. Everything I wanted in a mesh door for my balcony.

I had been using it over a month or so and so far it is living up to its worth . It is placed in my high traffic area back door which has an odd size and cannot accommodate a built in screen door ( unless it's a built to fit special order , which would be costly) has been holding its shape and still has great aesthetics, not an eyesore. I did reinforce the installation with furniture stapler to make sure it holds. Certainly keeps the bugs out , and my dog runs out as it's trained to do-- and waits out the door before coming back in for us to wash its paws.
