It is the perfect swaddle and just what my husband and I needed for our little baby girl. We tried swaddling with just a swaddle blanket for the first week of her life, but she always either broke out of it or was still startling awake. I heard such good things about the Ollie swaddle but thought how good can it be for the price you're paying for. We decided to just go for it and it was THE BEST DECISION EVER! Our baby started sleeping so much better afterwards and it is quite easy to use as well. She is nearing 3 months so I am not sure how much longer she will need it once she starts rolling, but I like that it will probably be an easier transition out of it since we can still use it with her arms remaining free. We bought other velcro swaddles which do not work as well, but we still use them during the day and the Ollie at night and she has been sleeping for 6-9 hours at night. I will say one of the cons (when comparing to other velcro swaddles) is that the velcro is very loud, but that is no issue for us because when we need to remove her from the swaddle we (most of the time) are trying to wake her up to feed her during the day anyways. Sometimes at night when she wakes with the Ollie and we want to check if she needs a diaper change, we just undo the rubber band part and check that way so that we don't need to wake her even more with the velcro sounds.PROS:- easy to use- does not awake from moro reflex- will be easy transition out of it since can be used with arms free when baby starts rollingCONS:- velcro is louder than others

As a first time dad, this made swaddling easy. It didn't matter how many YouTube videos I watched to correct my technique, our baby would break out of her regular swaddle. With the Ollie however, Baby slept for 5 hrs the first night and I wished we got this sooner.

*****update**** now that our daughter is here, I have to update and give it 1 star. She absolutely hates this swaddle. I wanted to love it, the concept makes sense. But no, she screams bloody murder when we put her in it, and seems very uncomfortable. we have tried multiple times and it’s the same every time. I can’t even get her to relax in it so she has yet to sleep in it. It comes back off within 2 minutes because I can’t stand to see her so upset. I have tried many many different brands and types of swaddles and not only does she hate this one the most, it’s the most expensive out of all the swaddles I have tried. As previous posters said, the Velcro is way too stiff and loud. Readjusting the Velcro is impossible. And Once wrapped she is very very stiff which not only seems uncomfortable for her but it’s extremely awkward to put her back to the breast to feed. Also cannot place it below the shoulders without it coming back over and risk of getting on her face. I wish I could have gotten my money back. I am sticking to my much cheaper swaddleme’s. My only advice is buy this when baby is here, so you can possibly get your money back if your baby hates it as much as ours does.Got this for our daughter due in July, very happy with the purchase and can’t wait to try it out. Very soft stretchy material, I love where the Velcro is placed so you can use at all sizes. Love the neutral toned pink color as well. Just think it’s a little pricey for the product especially when you compare to others. Go figure after I bought this on amazon I found a coupon when it was too late. IF this works like a miracle swaddle like others claim, THEN I will say ok worth the money. Because we can’t put a price on better (safe and comfortable for infant) sleep lol. But I have read and tried many items that claimed to be miracle products only to fall short, So only time will tell. Otherwise fantastic!
